Tight budgets

Now I know several folks on a tight budget around here.  I have been cutting and slashing mine for the past 3 years now even more so.  Just recently I have cut down on the paper towels with the cleaning and a few other things.  I am just wandering why NY State can not cut the fat and ear marks out of thier budgets in Albany NY.  At this time I do not mind not takeing the van everyplace that I go to.  So that cuts down on the gas for the van around here.  When I can walk to almost everything around here and take bags with wheels under it, it's a huge help dragging back things around here.  So now at this point I am so fed up with the extra taxes that are added on around here for things like soda, pre mix drinks, sugar, and others that I hardly drink soda anymore.  So now with that being said I have cut my power bill in half if not more around here and thanks to the high taxes most of the power bill is taxes and I live almost on top of the power vista (both) between Canada and the one in Lewiston NY.  When the bill is 90 dollars 60 dollars of the 90 is taxes on the bill.  Now you see why I want to have solar pannels up for power around here.  The other bills are not as high as the power bills here in NY State at all becuase of the taxes.  Most of the time I have the power shut off during the week around here unless the washer is going thruout the day on things that I diden't get to during the weekend.  Pluss I hang out laundery around here unless it is really cruddy outside.  So here I am cutting more of the budget around my place and do not mind it what so ever as long as I am rakeing over the NY State government around here.  Out of National Grid I can not get a straight answer out of none of them at all in what the Peak Hours are during the day around here.  And I can not get a straight answer out of the government also while I am at it.  ALso I can deal without alot of things around here altogeather like power and gas.  I have waited around becuase I am being such a tightwad around here untill I can get the solar pannals and the wood burning cook stove that it hurts.  Now with that being said there are coupons for groceries and paper items that I use for around the can.  Along with streaching out alot of things here for the can while I am at it all.  Now for alot of things I do not have a need for them during the week around here since I am the only one in the household besides the cat, dog, and 2 birds.  Then this way I do not feel bad when I talk and someone/thing answers me back.  With alot of things that have went on for the past almost 2 weeks around here I came up swinging more around here and got to thinking about some things also.  That I have noticed that I can cut back on around here and not even bother alot of the times with something.  I have totally looked around my place and started thinking that I have been tight with money all along and made some folks madder than a wet cat on a hot tin roof in what all I do around here.  Some of what I end up doing is for the good other things is to make others ask questions when they come over.  Or folks get pretty Pissed Off at me for how I do things.  Like useing less of stuff around here to streach it out along with my dollars that I spend.  Yes there are some things in my household that I do not eat all of the time and I need to be in the mood for it.  Then there are things like paper plates that have not been in my place for the past 13 years since I have to do the dishes anyway.  Also another thing is that since I have alot of rags around here I have not been useing the paper towels as much anymore.  With alot of the folks around here eather you work or you are on welfare or you are on disability.  There is no inbetween in the area.  I know some that are on the disabled list and collect welfare on top of it all.  That is how the NY State is around here.  While some of us are working and pulling back money in every way possible here and when we all need the help we can not get it becuase we have way to much money pulled back just in case.  My Husband was trying to be funny around here today and said to me why don't you throw back one of my pay checks back a month into the one account that we have.  I about flipped.  So now things will get even tighter around here and some do not even know it as of yet.  And alot of things are going out the door also around here.  When folks ask to start barrowing money again my answer will be no from now on around here.  Pluss I will start walking more so I can pick up the nickels from what others have tossed in the parking lots.  Also I was thinking about all of this myself since he has left for Collins in ways that I can cut even more around here while I was at it all.  My answer to everyone is going to be no from now on for wanting to barrow money and buy smokes off of us at all times.  Some folks are gonna have to deal with this all and understand of why.  Pluss I will cut more of the stuff off during the week around here also while I am at it all.  Now everything will kick into high gear on streaching the dollars out even more and I can live without alot of things here in the can.  So here is to me for trying to figure out more ways of streaching out the dollars and things here in the can even more and will let you know what I am about ready to try out around here in the household.
