As I sit here

As I sit here and think of what else I can do here to be cheap and it has hit me all at once in what I want to do of course.  It always works like that with me.  Since I still have the ice machine going I will not need any ice around here hardly at all.  And I just told my Husband no on something also for around here.  I do not want to waste money on something that I hardly use anyway.  On the good days around here yes I will be sitting outside of course around here.  I also have a candle out there so we can have light at least while outside.  Pluss I am digging out more to put up while we are outside also.  The stinkies as I call them will go outside becuase of the birds inside.  It may not be so bad after all around here for somethings.  While I got to thinking on what to do to be even cheaper around here that was part of the plan anyway to use some of the candles that I can't use in the can anymore.  And since it will be cruddy outside this week, I do still have lines here in the can to hang the blankets on to dry them.  I am also bagging ice in zip lock bags for later use also as I sit here.  May as well use the ice maker for what it is worth since summer is already here by heat standards also.  With alot of things that are going down around here I am trying to fallow a tight budget while I am at it all.  There are bills to be paid also around here that some forget about also.  That mess starts this week of course.  And I am still trying to streach out every dollar that comes into the can so I can pull money back for a real house also.  The bigger the down payment the better off we will be is how I am looking at it all.  Eather way I am still stuck in a dump of a trailer park putting up with the B.S. from the owners and the management untill we get out of here totally.  In how things are looking at this point I need to go very cheap around here untill I can come up and out with a new budget also.  At this point in time I am willing to do what I have to do.  Also at this point after tomarrow the van will be parked for the most part also while I am at it all unless I am doing a heavy shopping load and a few other things around here.  The things that I have said help out alot around here.  Pluss picking up cans helps along the way eather way around here for extra money also.  When I can get more cans by walking in the back and side of Walmart and the mall it is a sad thing that some folks just do not care about the nickels at all.  Well as I said I am thinking of ways to be cheaper around here and may as well get the cans and bottles here out of the park also.  Well around here at least there are some lazy people that refuse to take anything back at all.  That is how I am looking at most of the park around here.  There has been time to where I have got at least 100 dollars on the back row of the park at times.  Sometimes I only get 5 cents also for the walk. 

Got out today

Well I was out for longer than I wanted to be today.  The van is gased up tires filled and got to 3 other places for under 200 dollars today.  While I was over at the meat market may as well get a few things while I am there besides the relish of course.  Eggs for 69cents where was I going wrong in the first place.  When I can get over to Federal Meat I am gone.  We have that Mom and Pop chain here in Niagara Falls.  The guys always stay true to thier word here in the smaller chains.  Since I can not have peppers of any kind at all that is where I can get the pickle relish that I can eat.  So I ended up getting more than what I wanted and that is ok also.  You never know what specials that some have untill you walk in anyway.  Sometimes alot of the folks in the smaller shopps will work with you also on the prices.  Do not be scared to ask for a better deal on some things the worst they can tell you is no for that day.  Anyway between all the shopping and a few other things the laundery has been going also and part of it is already outside on the lines.  And yes I have been fairly busy already and the day is not over with yet.  I will wait to get some stuff done around here like cooking also.  That is the bad part around the can when I start cooking and then some with the heat.  While I was out I forgot about picking up Milk so I will mix up some powdered and go from there.  When I can make better food than most sit in places to eat there is a problem around here.  I have cracked a fried chicken recipie that almost tastes like the national chain around here if not better.  With the homemade sauce hands down Mine is better than all of the chains out there.  Sorry I can not give that recipie out as of yet my Grandmother will and would have my toush in a sling.  The joys of cooking as I say.  The thing is do not leave it bland at all.  Mix it all up around the place. 

Kids gotta love them

Now lastnight I was sitting on the deck here at the can waiting for Ann to do her thing.  One of the neighbors little ones came over from the other corner.  The girl asked if I was makeing dinner and if she could come over.  Guessing that she diden't want to fight her brothers at the dinner table.  I did talk with her daddy and he had not made any dinner and he was working on it at that point.  He was waiting on the sauce for the pasta when we were outside.  In what I had lastnight the sandwich fed myself and my Husband.  For the sandwich and a salad it came to 11 dollars and I still have half a salad left for lunch today around here.  Very rarely do I go out to eat that it sounded good for a change.  My husband laughs about it all of the time with myself.  With what I spent I got it down to 5.50 a person for the day.  That is not bad for picking up something at all.  With myself I eat do not get me wrong at all.  Normally since I am here alone I eat when I want and how much I want most of the time around here.  Anyway for today I will be getting a meal plan up for the next couple of days of course.  Tomarrow is the easy part of the weekend.  It is the matter of pulling the burgers, dogs, and chicken out of the big freezer and makeing the tater salad.  That reminds me I have to get over to the one meat market down the street here for the relish that I can eat without worries and they are the only place I can get it at without the peppers in it.  So I will be takeing a walk here sometime today.  It will be on the cheap side once again for a handfull of things.  And that is fine by me around here to say the least. 

Realizeing why I don't

I now realize in how stupid some folks are around here in NY State.  With some that I have delt with around here I have a duh button along with a stupid botton on my forhead at all times here.  Smack both and I totally explode.  I know now why I diden't go for a lawyer at all around here at all.  I think and read way to much here and why people are so wrong around here and why the whole NY State is into 9 billion dollars in debt.  With the stupidity of some thinking that welfare is ok and a few other things around here I wander why I do not live in a common wealth state where I have no rights just like around here in NY.  Now if you rear end someone no matter in who it is you are at fault here in NY State Period and it doesen't matter what you are.  A bus driver rear ended a moter cycle and gee who is at falt not the Biker with the loud pipes it is the 18 wheeler as normal.  Eather with the logs caught up or not caught up eather way.  One of thiese days the Truck drivers will stop running and I hope they all do to bring the country to a Damn stand still.  Ok we all have trains Big fat harry deal.  Who transports the goods to the stores and the gas stations around here in Amarica,Canada, and Mexico.  Have all 3 not cross the borders around here and all 3 goes to its knees with in a week around here a 2 week stike then the countries stop cold period.  It would take a year to recover from it ask a driver that is older they will tell you around here in how it is.  Now I am a tight ass eather way and most of the folks here in NY State can not survive on what they have if the trucking system goes down at all.  I have learned that thru working in some places unlike some people who want to put down the drivers via bus or truck drivers.  Gee the pony express only lasted 6 months in this contery in the early 1900's.  Now granted most of the NY State has not been out of the state at all and do not know what it is like all over the states at all.  For 17 years as of tomarrow I have been here in NY State and never seen a bunch of stupid people who do not know thier heads from their Asses at all.  Alot of the so called woman up here in this state fallow the men around on short leashes also that I have noticed.  Sorry I have a Damn back bone that I do not need a man unless I want to get knocked up.  I come from a long line of women who have worked thier asses off for the family and the men mean shit after all said and done.  That is why they make cast iron and .45's out in the world.  Never fear a man in my book and if you do I do not pitty you what so ever and go back to the old history books in life.  It was not the men here it was the women who did everything thru life eather way.  Now granted in the state of Illinois most of the goveners have went to jail for at least somthing that they did.  What about Spitzer he needs to go to prison for his girls that spit.  Patterson is no differant than the governers in Illinois and than Spitzer himself.  When some folks said about what was going on I said and Jail time and I would not be suprized on it all.  Blunt is the game and Ya better show me since I did live in both the state of Ill. and Mo.  I do not play with stupidity up here and you better know your shit here in NY with me.  Otherwise I will be blunt and smack anyone down without a problem from now on and I do not give a rats behind on it all.  Now please tell me around here from the state of NY to the state of Illinois who needs more hours for an 18wheeler and for a hair licence.  I know the answer to that one and the state of Illinois wins hands down by another 800 hours period with an 85% on the tests or you do not make it around here at all in NY State. 

Takeing a couple

I took acouple of hours for myself yesterday and watched the kids next door in the pool.  Pluss the part water fight between us adults it was fun.  At least we all cooled off pretty quick around our block.  I diden't realize that the one neighbor that I really really like around here was strugleing as much as she was around here also.  So all of us gals sarted talking about ways of being cheap around here and some were shocked in what I have done.  Pluss one was totally shocked when I said to hit up yard sales for the kids stuff.  The poor gals husband up and left her and the 2 children.  Well with the lot rent being 355 and nothing included I do not blame her for looking at someplace else to live also.  So I started telling the both of them what I did to have the children feed and everything else.  Sometimes it is hard to catch up once you realize that there is not enough money coming in also.  I know this part all to well around here.  Part of the stuff around here gets bought in bulk.  Like cat food, litter, dog food, bird food, and scratch paper.  I have bins for the bird food around here so I do not have to try to close the bags once again.  Both birds are special needs since one is a plucked chicken and the other still has siezures around here.  I almost took a walk down to the place where I got Olliver from to smack the person I got him from.  It took all that I had not to go down there at all.  When the bird goes into a full blown hard siezure he flips to his back and shakes and a few other things.  So here I sit and I really hope today is a better day for everyone here in my can.  Alot of what is going on around here and some do not blame me one bit for keeping to myself and trying to be cheap around here.  When some have found out that I did and do alot of things on the cheap around here in order to make it also I did get my brain picked all togeather.  With some things going on and the prices going stupid for groceries they did not blame me for alot of things that I did around my place.  When you start cooking on the cheap it is hard to stop once you get started also.  Once I told both of the gals in what were my staples in my place they said it made a whole bunch of since also.  With a bag of potatoes, flour, powdered milk, rice, onions, garlic, and yeast I can make alot out of what I have around here.   There have been times that is all that I have had here in my can or elsewhere.  Now this year I will be shareing the tomatoes if they do well around here also.  That I do not mind doing at all.  With some folks they diden't notice in what I did only becuase, where I unload the van at they can't see also.  So eather way there are many ways to cut corners still and get by with it all.  I have my way of doing things around here and it is not wrong in what I do.  Someone else may have a differant way of doing things in thier place.  Like a couple that I know refuses to go over to Walmart to do part of the shopping for the month.  I go to Walmart for some things over to Kmart for other things and other places for more of the things for the place around here.  When I can get things at a bargin price I am there to stock the place up.  Pluss some were amazed that I was not on the computer all day long also.  That is how it all goes around here also.  Why put extra heat in the can when I do not have to at all. 

Still cool

It is still cool in here at the moment.  I got lucky on that so far this morning.  It also helped that I blocked the rest of the kitchen windows also for the morning.  I will unblock them when it hits about 11am when the sun is not totally streaming in those 2 windows.  Anyway I have alot of work to do here for today here in the can.  I will do it on the cheap side of course.  The nice thing about useing less of the cleaners is that you waste less of them and you have more that what you figured you did.  I try to streach out everything around here as much as possible anyway.  My Husband thinks I am nuts for doing it untill he went to get the dishes done the one day and realized he put to much dish deturgant in the water.  Then he realized leave it up to me to get the housework done around here.  Pluss he realized that I wasen't being as picky as I sounded at all.  I do things in how I see fit around here and save as much as I can also in the mean time also.  Since I have started cutting the cleaners in half and in half again they seem to work even better for the place.  When I started all of this years ago some thought I had done lost my mind around here untill they all realized that it was working fairly well for us here in the can also.  Pluss I could keep the can stocked up that much more also around here while I was at it all.  What has got to some folks that come over is that it takes me very little to restock the place.  Some I have shared also with them in how I do things around here.  Part of how I do this is sales and coupons.  When my Hubby went back to work I ended up restocking most of the place once again becuase I was really low on everything around here.  We both got out to Walmart and I had almost 2 cartfulls of the restock for the can.  I also had a stack of coupons for the poor cashier while I was at it all.  That habbit I will not break to shop with coupons for where I am.  Alot of the cashiers do not mind the coupons at all.  What I end up doing is hitting the new cashier up and see what happends from there.  I have had some just walk away from me also.  Now for alot of places they will not take the printed from home coupons at all.  I know some of the stores have lost alot of folks shopping there at the place who does not acept the print on the fly coupons also.  Some of the folks who use coupons will tell you it takes about an hour to go thru the ads and match up the coupons.  It takes about 30 minutes around here for me.  I use the envalope system here.  The coupons get into a piticular envalope and go from there.  I see what is on sale for that store and pull the coupon for the sale item and it goes to another envalope for that store.  Then I grab the bucket that I keep the rest of the coupons in and go to the store.  If something else is on sale and I know that I have a coupon for it I pull the coupon and stick it in the envalope for the check out lanes.  Now when I say bucket it is a plastic bin with a handled lid.  That is how I do mine others have thier ways also.  With some folks they say that they can not get organized enough to do what some of us do also.  I say if you can organize the household one more thing is not gonna hurt at all.  All I got was an eye roll from some folks also. 

Diden't get done

Well tomarrow is another day of course.  I got the kitchen about how I want it again and walked to the bank also this morning.  Since it takes me the same amount of time to walk as it does to drive it and there was still alot of traffic out.  All I could do was laugh when a the neighbors in front of me asked if I ran there and back.  So eather way I did get something done around here.  It was not what I had wanted to get done around here but, it seems to work.  Pluss I got alot of the counters wiped down also while moveing the kitchen around.  Now for tomarrow I really have to clean around here.  It was a hot one today and will be worse tomarrow outside.  The A/C unit would kick on and between the dog and cat sprawled out in the hall way at the intake/outtake it made it hard to step over them so I gave up.  It seems like when I have the fan pointed into the main room around here that the A/C unit kicks off faster and seems cooler than where I have it set at.  I keep the stat on 80 around here.  It is easier for the summer time to do it that way around here.  Pluss easier on the wallets also.  Now with the people nextdoor to here do not believe in blocking up most of the rooms for the window unit nor to clean the coils out.  So thier power bill has and will soar to over 300 dollars in the summer times.  I stoped telling them on what to do about 6 years ago when they woulden't listen to me.  I have dungonized the place for the most part with blocking windows and unused rooms also around here.  What gets to me the most around here is that I have blocked up every place and the 2 that hollar that my place is cooler than thiers.  I look at them and shake my head.  Pluss they are running the dryer during the day also instead of hanging the laundery out on the lines.  Then some have tilted the window unit up to much which means they will have water running down the walls.  I had to laugh when the guy started screaming at about 11 am today.  I could have told him to tilt the unit down.  Since some think that I have a stupid buttton on my forehead so I diden't say nothing about it.  Since the window unit is what we both started out with around here also.  The funny part about most of this around here is that nobody can see in anymore hardly. 

A very hot day

Well as I sit here this morning here and knowing that it is going to be hot outside.  I am wandering what is going down for today and I will be cleaning for part of the day eather way.  I am just lucky we got the damper open on the A/C unit on Sunday.  I will be plotting out the day as I sit here and write.  It is not that bad just one of them days to try to get everything done in the morning time.  The computer will be off today and tomarrow for a good reason during the day here.  I do not want the extra heat in the can at all.  I will be waiting untill tonight to turn on the computer again.  Anyway I am just hopeing that the 2 mater plants and the strawberry plant will make it thru the next couple of days around here.  I am trying the topsy turvys and see how they work for this year.  Pluss I had to hang them high enough that the dog woulden't get to them.  Now for to keep the children out of the plants also.  When folks ask I do not mind shareing at all.  When the children come over and just take then I have the problem.  That is one of the reasons of why I am trying to get out of here also.  Most of the kids are left to fend for themselves around here.  There is nothing nobody can do also becuase some of us already have tried.  One ended up in court for acouple of weeks also for what he has done around here.  What is bad is that on Saturday afternoon the boys uncle basicly told him that he may not be his father but, he would knock him out anyway unlike what his father would do.  I had to laugh about it myself.  After that the boy has been fairly quiet and you haven't seen him also around.  With yesterday being as warm as it was I ended up useing the convection oven to cook with.  It diden't heat the can up as bad as the oven would have around here.  The best part was that the chicken was done in part of the time and the trailer wasen't heated up all togeather also while I was at it.  My Husband was very impressed about it all and remembered why I got the convection oven after yesterday.  So now it is that time of the year to start useing it once again around here.  In some ways it is a smaller oven and that is fine by me in some ways around here.  Since I do have pans around here to fit it that is what makes it bareable.  I was laughing about it last night since I have a few other things in the freezers that I need to cook and they may not fit as planned.  Ok for tonight it is a leftover night and I may end up with a casserole to make it thru the week also. 

Heating up

Well between the weather heating up around here so is Albany NY. Today I will be cleaning for most of the day weather I like it or not and today was the first day that I have not had a headache also. One of the good things about running the A/C unit around here. It should have clicked with me while I was sitting there for lunch. Anyway at this point in time NY State is so messed up that it is not even funny around here at all. The budget still hasent passed at all and they are 2 months late with that part and 9 Billion dollars in debt. Well now it is time to start slashing the perks that some get around here. Well with the soda tax still being debated and a few other things. I will say this with the folks on food stamps they do not pay the tax on the soda only the deposit. It is the rest of us that are not on the system that have to pay for it. I have also noticed that around here the more you work on cutting the bills down they seem to go up eather way. I will be doing what I have to around here and start being a pain in the toush to some of the companies to get the bills down also. If I have to call every month to get my point accross so be it. Also with the dunces in Albany will know about it also while I am at it all. I have been debateing for the past 3 months now on weather to go very dirt cheap around here also. Now I will be doing so around here. That means less power being used, more coupons, and alot of reuseing things untill they all fall apart around here. Alot of things I am not worried about at all only becuase they are not in that bad of shape as of yet. With me around here things are not done untill they are so done that nobody else can use them at all. Why Albany NY can not do this is beyond me at this point in time. With alot of folks around here it is a huge sin to get things not on sale and use the item untill it is so done that it hurts. When I have one of the folks that I respect to the fullest around here in laughture on why bother to pay 50 dollars on the latest gadget for getting the van windows clean when I have a 5 dollar swifter mop with a hand towel and glass cleaner to use instead. It is things like that and thinking ok how can I do this cheaper that some folks would not even bother to do around here. Just like with the fans going with the A/C unit going also. Now today I will be clearing off and around the convection oven. I have no choice in the matter what so ever since the can heats up so fast with the regular oven going. When I say can it means that I live in a trailer. There are ways to do things around here and go from there. With the convection oven I can bake and cook in it. It will hold a 12 muffin tin on each rack also. That is one reason of why I got it pluss it was on big sale when I got it. There are alot of ways to be frugal/cheap all at the same time in my book. It all depends on how far you can take it and there is no wrong way of doing things. Since Albany NY is into screwing who is left here in the state I may as well do what I have to do around here to cut and streach everything out in my place period. That should make some folks think around these parts of town even. Now as I sit here and started to think of what all some folks do also and some things are makeing me shake my head in how and why. Now I have been cutting back for a good while around here without a problem at all. With or without children in the place. Now with some things that I am hearing around here I have to laugh period also. Pluss wander what some folks are doing with thier pay checks while I am at it all. When I can sit here and say that yes I do cook all of the time and I will show folks in how I do things also. And explain why this works around here they do not show up at all nor ask the questions of why.

Now it is slow

When I first started going cheap/frugal it was a slow proccess and still is around here to this day. When I first started this I had an old window A/C and started blocking the windows to make it cooler in here. When my Husband lost his job some years ago and I was working full time at a fast food place not makeing much at all around here at all. It was barely enough to pay the bills at the time coming into the can let alone food for the 2 of us here also. SO I got to reading and pulling myself togeather at the time of what can I do to save the can. Then it all hit me that some things I can live without some things for the place. The paper plates and the paper napkins were first to go here in the place. Since I had to do dishes at the time anyway it was something that was not needed anymore. There were so many things that needed done and I tried to jump in with both feet. That is why alot of things did not work out for me at the time also. I backed off somewhat and took one thing at a time after that. Alot of the things that I do have stuck thru the years and have saved some serious money for myself and my Husband. Like useing less of cleaning products, and I even cut the dryer sheets in half around here also. Now over the years around here I ended up getting a used sofa and a few other items also while I was at it all. For about 14 years I kept the sofa becuase it wasent trashed hardly at all untill about the 14th year that we had it. I diden't bother to get another one at all becuase I was here most of the time by myself and still am. As some folks say buy used and save the money from there. With myself that works some of the times around here. With alot of the appliances that I have here in the can most of them were bought new. What I did do was wait untill they went on big sale and then baught the item that was wanted and needed around here. Since the summer is coming so quickly I will be useing the convection oven more. Today is one of the last days I will be useing the big oven around here. Since it heats up the can so much and the convection oven is not so bad to heat up the can. Anyway over the years it has got alot easier and I have found more ways that are cheaper for my place. Now acouple of years ago I went serching over the net to see who else was out there for recipies and afew other things. That is where I ran into the site www.hillbillyhousewife.com. Of course I was looking onto expanding on the frugal side for cooking. I have has alot of them that I always used and Susanne have gave that gental nudge on opening the door alot more for new stuff.

Well got out

I got out for abit today and I am feeling better already. It was nice to get out and streach my legs walking. I still haven't finnished the laundery as of yet and will get more done tonight. That is what I do not like about the warmer weather around here at all. IT is already 85 here in the can and it will get worse in the next couple of days here. And yes I got the damper on the A/C opened up also. With it going up to 85 outside inside will be 95-100 eather way I go if I do not get the unit going in the morning. Pluss 2 fans also will be going. one pointing into the main room from the hallway the other in the kitchen pointing sraight up. It helps to keep the place cool also. The A/C unit does not have to work as hard with the fans going. Nor as long with both going also. The wierd part is I set it on about 80 and it is comfertable once said and done. With out the unit going constantly becuase of the fans you also save on the power bill also. When some say turn off the A/C unit during the day when you are not home it costs more money when you flip it on when you come home also. That is what some do not seem to realize also. Also in what I do is to block up the windows around here and 2 rooms that I do not use during the day. I use sheets and blankets all of the time to block everything that I have to to keep the heat out and the cool air in, in the summer time around here. The Birds are going to be mad for a while and that is ok. In the mornings they like the one window unblocked anyway and it will be blocked untill the sun gets out of them for the next couple of days. Now for a window unit for the air I have told some people time and time again to block up all of the rooms except for the 2 main rooms in thier can. The window units are only good for one room and that is it. Maybe 2 at most. It depends on how big the unit is and how you block up the windows and other rooms also. You would be amazed in how somethings really help out when you do them.

Shakeing my head

Now I am happy I diden't leave around here. With the radio blareing across the street now and some wander why I do drink. Well after all the hollering and kicking that I have done and nothing has been done about it from nobody that I called I am just wandering if the so called park management and owners really want a trashy trailer park after all around here. That was part of the wait a minute around here in the first place. SO now the war is on for myself going cheaper around here altogeather. Once I totally hit the limit around here I am out like a rocket without haveing it tied to my toush. There has been a few reasons of why I have stuck it out for this long and now that is not a good enough reason for me at all around here and I have been putting my foot down regularly around here. Now it is to the point where the both of us have to get out of here. After I hear the uncle tell the boy this afternoon don't treat me like your father becuase I will knock you out. Of course I had to clean it up in what was said. So I went running thru the can to get the bottle of jack off the counter to put it at the back door so if and when I was ready to see this one and laugh. The battles are always free around here anyway. This is why I am sticking to myself even more and playing hermmy as I call it so I don't get blamed at all. Sometimes I have to laugh at some of the neighbors anyway to keep going. And yes I have found alot more cheaper ways to run the can around here without any help at all. There were tid bits that I have read along the way and some of them have worked well while others just got bounced to the middle of the street. I started thinking of ways of what else can I do and not be totally acid about it. One was for about 5 days a week to just turn off alot of things around here that took up alot of time away from cleaning. Also another thing is that I do most of the cleaning in the mornings between 7:30 am to about 12 pm also. In the summer months I do this and cook way early or way late also. Then this way the can isen't totally heated up also to where the A/C hasen't got a chanse in Hell to catch up with both heat during the day and the oven. That is if I have the A/C unit on at all. Anyway while I was thinking around here also I went to Walmart also. THe good ice cream was on sale for under 2 dollars for the half gallon. And lactose free on top of it I am impressed. I have not seen that stuff since I left Texas when I seen my one sister while she lived there. So the big trick normally is to have coupons with the kick butt sale but I was going for something else. Anyway as I was saying I have been trying to revamp the can to go cheaper around here. Pluss I ran into a friend while I was over at Walmart also. He was telling his lady friend that I was one of the cheaper ones that he knew around. I laughed and I know the man is right on him saying that I was cheap around my place along with being out. I have to still and to get out that much quicker out of the can it is well worth it to go even cheaper. Some folks that come over to my place get upset or mad eather way since I do things my way when I am alone around here. Then there are the folks who come over that want to know in how I do it all on the cheap also. I tell alot of folks still I am not as cheap as I really want to be yet and if you have a couple of days during the week I can show you how I do all of what I know already of course. For some folks they like the one dollar store to shop at. I shop all over the place.

Wandering again

I am wandering of when all of the housework will be done around here. Since it is raining out I have the dryer going today just so I can get caught up on the laundery and there is the dishes that I have started and waiting on the water to cool down. It seems that it is a never ending battle around here to keep the place clean enough with everyone here. There are 2 birds, a cat, and a dog. And we do have the explossion of seeds and a few other things depending on the mood of everyone also. Yes at times I have a hard time trying to keep up with everything here. Well at least that things are getting done around here. Well the 2nd load of laundery and dishes are going around here and I have to take a break every so often or I pay for it later. I am just hopeing to make it thru the day today with the rain and a few other things around here. There is still alot to get done and I will try to get most of it done today. I have no choice at this point. Pluss the birds are being loud eather way wanting to get out and calling for more rain. Before they can get out I want to vacume the kitchen and liveingroom. Whoever put the carpet in the kitchen should be shot in my eyes. I have spot treated the carpet out there more times than I can remember around here. So eather way I am back to work on the kitchen at this point.

Sitting and stalling

I am really stalling on the housework for today. I got alot done yesterday and I love it for today even though I have alot more to do for today. At least most of it will get done today around here. Pluss I have to wait for the hot water to come back up. Yes I started the washer up around here. Well I do like very hot water for the dishes and it is a good exccuse to run the washer before the dishes. Anyway today is not going to be bad around here just somewhat busy is all once again. And yes I will be doing things on the cheap side today. I have to eather way. Pluss there is a few more things that I have to move in the kitchen becuase I do not like where things are sitting at all. I put it in the place it is now thinking it would be easier on me. I totally wrong on that one yesterday in what I was thinking. So now to get things moved around here to where most of it is at grabbing distance and to where I can reach also. That is the problem since I only stand 5'2. Well I have been confussed for part of the week and came up swinging yesterday yesterday morning I started coming up with more things to be cheap/frugal in. Well I have been useing less of things around here anyway and will cut everything down again. Also since I have a fully stocked kitchen again I do not need to go shopping at all anymore. Even though I need to go get more bread for the second kitchen. I will start makeing homemade bread for the can once again and get a loaf here and there for the cookouts around here. Other than that I will be makeing my own around here once again. Now it is not like the KitchenAid mixer will not get a work out around here becuase it does. Last night was no exception to that at all. I use the mixer all of the time and it has almost been 2 years since I have got it also. I dumped the hand mixer that I had and it was on the way out anyway. I would go thru at least 2 a year around here untill the KitchenAid got put up on the counter. I am still laughing to this day that it took me over 18 years to get one. I also scrimped and saved for the stand mixer also. Ok folks I have housework to get to that is waiting on me.

Alot done

I have got alot done so far this morning already. Maybe it is a good thing around here at all costs to me. And I did start dusting while I was at it all. Ok so I am a bit boring at times around here. It is well worth it at all costs for days like today. Pluss to top it off I do have the fans in the windows here in the can. I am not ready to turn on the A/C unit yet. Next week I may not have a choice in the matter if it gets to hot out. Or I may just stick to the window fans an get the place cooled off that way I am not sure as of yet around here. I would have to rearange the spare room also if I do get it up and going around here. And block more of the windows up while I am at it. Well anything to save money in my book around here will do me some good. Now after thinking it may not get me out of here any faster to save more money also by being cheaper than snot. I have came to that as of lastnight trying to talk with my Husband when he came home. That and I am stuck in a can and may as well get use to the fact once again. So now lets see how far I can take my cheapness before some start hollering that live here in the can with me. Alot more changes are on the way and I refuse to shop hardly anymore around here untill the place is almost totally out of food and other things. I have been thinking of this for weeks now. ALso there are other things that I have on the table that might be good for the place once I think about it all. So if it means that I am off the computer and other things are shut off so be it around here from now on also. WHat I think is funny around here is that here I am sitting and thinking of dinner around here and pulled 2 nights worth of bacon and sausage for tonight and tomarrow. Pizza tonight and bacon for the homemade mac and cheese for tomarrow. I am not sure what to have with tomarrows part of the selection at all. Next week will be eather out on the grill or in the convection oven with the heat of course. Well I can think of 10 worse things that could happen around here and cooking is not one of them at all. Now it is hitting me of partly why of what was said to me. Well it was as plain as the snot in my own nose around here. Since I have been working on trying to be cheap around here and knowing of what I can do also that is the part of what has scared some from moveing and a few other things. Normally I am off of the computer all day long for about 5 days a week around here, it is mostly a habbit I have got into while I was working for another company and got laid off. Yes there are times where I am on the computer all day and yet the T.V. has remained off at this point in time around here. Also I have been shopping at the cheap stores except for Kmart with some things that was needed around here. Yes I live in sweats most of the time and like it like that even though I have 2 pairs of jeans to go out out with as I call it. Now it took awhile to get the freezers chucked full after both of us were unenjoyed as I call it and one went back to work along with a few other things around here. Now realizeing that I do not need much anyway and I am happy with leftovers during the week around here anyway Some do not want to move in what I have done at all. Bins or no bins around here. Also I am beginning to see it as a true test becuase I really do not want to run the A/C unit at all this year. Along with a few other things. Now with it hitting me I know why also of what is going down. Well not only that with summer fast approching around here I will be drinking more water also and a few other things around here. So it may not be all bad at all.

Don't know

Well I was very confussed lastnight after my Husband left here. It is still a baffel to me now at this point. I had asked if he would ask if the offer was still open from who asked us and he said no and he refused to make me work like a dog in the house period. Pluss he said it was hard enough on me in our own place trying to keep things straight around here. I will say my place isen't a total disaster at all just cluttered up. I have been getting more organized to a point around here anyway and was figureing that I do not need anymore here in the can. I guess what got to my Husband more was that he did not want me to go into totall issolation also on top of things. And I would be doing more work becuase more would be dumped on me at all times in some places. Also the Hubby told me he diden't want me driveing long distances at all hardly unless I wanted to. So I guess a trip to PA for acouple of days is out of the question at the moment. Pluss the Gal that did my hair yesterday was a Blessing to me as she worked on my hair also. Now it is very rare that I get to go get my hair cut at a shop. I can not see spending the money for layers in my hair when I can do it myself here at my own place since I have the siccors to do and I had my licence at one point. With all said and done I am cheap and figure why bother most of the time to spend money on myself around here. So today I figure to have the computer on for most of the day to have the radio playing and to start organizeing another part of the can today. May as well do something around here since it is a good day on me. I will be hurting later on tonight when I get done with what I want to do and moveing the ton sofa is out of the question also for today while I am at it. Some of the things is to reorganize my desk and put more in the top cabnets also. It makes the perfect holding place for extra dishes for the can. With me looking around I am seeing what needs to be on top of my list also for the day. And the dishes were done as of lastnight and only the coffee cup that I am useing at the moment is out besides glass bottels that need to go back to get returned also. Anyway at this point in time I do not need any more in my can at all and will be takeing part of the day to go thru some things around here to purge out of here. Well at this point I figure I will not be needing that much anyway and the less I have the better off I will be eather way. Also in the coming days I will be trying to keep busy around here and that might be a good thing on me.

Going thru

I am going thru alot of personal battels today. Even though I got 2 feet cut off my head this morning. My headache has cleared up now to try to turn off other things at randome while I am at it all. I have forgot how to do this since after 25 years of being able to turn things off at random also. The coming up swinging has worked to some degree of things but not all togeather in others at all. Yes I still have wacked out dreams at times and lastnight was the norm for them all. My "real mother" blamed herself for it and I coulden't say it was totally her at the moment and refuse to still at this point in time. Then again we were never close in the later years anyway from when I was 16 on. So since I have been battleing a few things over the past few months around here once again I know what to do and how to do it all also. I just figured it was a stage that I was going thru again untill I seen my Mother in Law again while I was sitting at my computer desk reading. I knew the smile was for me trying to bring the one side of the family togeather again and I failed and fell flat on my face or my Ass one. Take the pick on trying to do right around here with myself. After adopting another Quaker parrot around here I finally realized in why some pretty much depended on thier birds eather way they went. I have went back to my fur balls and feather balls for alot of things even though I have to watch the tape recorders. That is with the feather balls around here. I keep to myself and alot of folks know this around here in the trailer park also. Maybe the Issolation will do some good with me also wonce I talk to my Husband on the matter. If the offer still stands around us and another couple that we know. I will say that if and when we move out of the trailer park that someone won't keep thier mouth shut of where we moved to here in NY State. Pluss where I am thinking of it is closer to my Aunt and Uncle in PA also. Now I have read and heard alot of folks say that thier spouses work in PA and shop thier when they all get the chance to also. Or maybe I have been stuck in the same spot for way to long from an ungreatfull person who doesen't give a rats behind also once I think about it. DO not get me wrong on my Husband at all. This is one of the more stable spots I have been in besides knowing the woman who raised me kept the same spot also. The fact is that some passed up a spot that was normal to some point and totally saine while we were at it all. Pluss I diden't turn blue after almost 17 years while I was at it all. I have hated most of the 17 years that I have been here and came to the fact a few years ago that wait a minute I can walk to places here without a problem also and that is what made it tolerable. The front door to Walmart is 3 min away if that and about a 20 min walk to other places depending on how fast I walk also. And on the mood I am in at the time. Another good thing is that the wheel bags have saved me more times than not around here also. Now with some things I do let my Hubby take the van to work and refuse to worry about it at this point. Since I do have my own 2 feet and they seem to be fine after this long in time.

Wierd morning

I have had a really wierd morning so far. The router went down once again and had to be totally unplugged to get it back up. Well it has happened before around here and remembered what another person told me to do to fix it. That is one bad thing about haveing the set up of DSL, Cable, and Satalite internet. Anyway I have been trying to make up my mind on what to do around here for some things and still have unanswered what if's. Granted there are always gonna be more questions than answers in the world eather way you go. So I may just take a walk today and see what kind of trouble I can get into. I was thinking of doing something nice for myself and it is only hair and will grow back. Pluss I may as well talk with my Husband tomarrow when he gets totally home (so I hope). I want to run something by with him. If it works then great if not that is fine also. Or maybe I just think way to much around here. There are alot of factors as of today of why I have been thinking on this one. It is not becuase of the issolation niether. Well let me get the motivation around here and go from there.

Still laughing

Well I am still laughing histaricly around here several days later about a few things that have went on. Well knowing of what went on I have no choice but to laugh at the whole thing and knowing that I am right at the same time. Now several years ago my Husband and myself were paying child support to his supposad daughter at the time. I knew they go the driveway blacked toped within 6 months befor she asked me for 200 dollars to go school with. Then to turn around for that night figureing I dident talk with her father she asked him for 400 dollars. I would have took her shopping at that point and did it for less and not knowing untill about 2 years later she was bellied out at her graduation with my grandbaby. Well after I put it all togeather myself on what went on some were madder than a wet cat on a hot tin roof around here in the city. As some put it her mother "Shit" the money and gave it to her after we brought up the child support issue. Things that some do not know can hurt them in the long run for being stupid or just not asking the right questions in life. This is after the girl had seen me with a fistfull of coupons at the store doing the grocery shopping and her mother telling me that she woulden't be caught dead with the coupons nor the sale items. After that I started huge in the coupons eather way when I did shop. And a few other things while I was at it all. That is what scared some people right then and there about me. Now I have got alot cheaper over the years and don't care what others think of what I do for my place. Now in almost 17 years I have not moved also becuase of the girl. Now I have put my foot down on that also around here once we all find a place I am out of here quicker than my nose can fill up with snot. The only reason that I have not hollared and threw a fit around here to really move is becuase I made a deal with myself. Becuase I could walk everyplace around here was one. The next is I could blame PMS for the next step also around here if and when some found any fault in me.

Diden't get to far

I haven't got very far in the can today and that is ok by me. I have another couple of days before my Hubby comes home anyway. After a few folks got really Pissed Off at me around here already in the past 24 hrs I am the one who has the last laugh around here. That is what I get for being blunt and truthfull all at the same time around here and I have put my foot down on alot of things in the past 2 months also while I was at it all. I have been looking at ways to go cheaper around here and some folks have not liked my attatude around here that have been over also. There has been a couple that just have not cared becuase we are in the same boat of servivle also in the past 8 years and they love my attatude adjustment on alot of things that I have done in the past 6 months or so around here. After yesterday I totally forgot that a couple of things were triple points on my card and some would have had a fit over it all that barely come over now around here. I do not see some folks over when I am totally broke at all around here and do not expect them to come over also. Since I do make ends meet and streach out everything in the household here. In the past almost 17 years around here my opinion on alot of folks have changed and I do not wander why I keep to myself any more while I am at it all. And I have caught some in lies and more lies thru the years I have no use for some folks around here at all. Now that the truth has somewhat came out on some people they want nothing to do with me at all and that is fine by me. There is only so much I can do and after that I have gave up around here also. As some folks say if you don't want to be caught at some things do not post pic's on the internet at all. Part of my work I do is to go digging on some things and prod on the computer. I have the knowledge and time to do most of it now since I work from home most days. Also another bad thing around this crappy state is that I get blamed for alot that I haven't even done or offering a hand. Now you know why I keep to myself alot of the times and could care less when some people mess up thier own lives and do not have the Balls to admit to it at all. I was seeing someone regularly at a church I was attending at the time and got told Point Blank to Leave or be bodilly removed one becuase of the lies that were told. My so called Step daughter has not figured this one out about her own mother as of yet and never will more than likely. I left the church that I was attending and still got blamed for splitting for being asked to eather way and abandoning someone when I diden't. After almost 17 years I have not moved at all becuase my Husband wanted to see if his daughter came over when she became of age. I never fought on it and stuck it out in the can. Now that I have put my foot down on some things around here and do not care what Happends and knowing one of my Husbands best buddies will open his mouth eather way to say where we are after moveing. That is why I never worried about getting out of the Hell Hold trailer park at all. Now all I have around here is my husband and a few family members that I like around me pluss going cheaper by the day around here to get the hell out of here I really do not care one way or the other for what some think about me and yes I am repetitive around here and had to be to keep my sanity for the past 17 years as of the 28th of this month.

Day Dreaming

I am day dreaming for a change around here this morning. Something that I hardly do anyway. Since I will not go out and spend a dime on squat today I guess it is safer to do the day dream thing for acouple of things around here. My poor Hubby was shocked when I told him last night that I got things for him again. Huge sales on somethings and I picked up 3 pairs of jeans for him while I was out yesterday. I am still waiting for the points to show up on my card for Kmart. Now that I get excited about some things around here of course. And that is one of the things with myself. With today I will be doing some things of course around the can and I maybe on strike for most of the day. Oh well at least the place is mainly clean anyway and everyone needs a brake now and again from the housework. Now to get the rest of the kitchen picked up and go on strike around here.

Still laughing

Now I always try to laugh eather way thru the day and now I am just plain out mean about it all. Well I took a trip over to Kmart this morning becuase I had to get out of the can for a bit around here. I ran into someones friend at the cashier desk of course and she thought I was just the coolest thing that walked in and out of the store after I said what I was trying to do with the points on my card from there. The poor girl did not blame me one bit and said it was a good idea to leave the money on the card for her son for the hollidays. I know the points for today haven't made it to the card as of yet so I will not look untill at least tomarrow to see how much I have on there. I had to restock the truck eather way around here and a few other things that needed to be here in the can also. Well I did pretty good in my eyes and will be watching from there in how much is on the card. Well I know I do not wear jeans at all but the Hubby does and I picked them up for him since they were on sale at Kmart this week. I found his size and went from there today of course. The t-shirts I diden't like at all for him so I did not pick any up for him at all. While I was there I picked up the bottled water also just incase if the lines are broke again here in the park so we all can have coffee and a few other things. Pluss I get the nickel returns on the water bottels also here when I get enough of the bags in my Mud room. That has always tickled me when I can return things for the money from the cans and bottels and go from there. So here I sit and working on the can and on the blog here and do not mind it for the week. My mother even brought up a good point lastnight when I talked with her. That my Husbands ex girlfriend was running scared becuase she coulden't cook and woulden't put her foot down at all and made some do all the work around here. I have spoiled my poor Hubby to the max and get things done without a problem around here. I just do not say much to him about when I go shopping for the good bargins and a few other things around here. Some people know that I am busy around here without a problem and go from there. When I can say I keep my sanity around here by doing the small things around here then there is a fight with some folks that come over. Or who refuse to come over period also. Also some can not stand that I do streach out things all of the time around here. Yes some get tired of me doing things around here in the can and the park management is one, so is my so called step daughter who denies me and her biological father at every turn in life. As some people have told me that it is my fault for trying once again to reach out my hand for other family members I conciter it plain out stupidity on some parts of whow want squat to do with all of us around who do not look like her son period. I do not talk to some for a reason around here and Stupidity out rules every time also. I will never take it out on the child for the stupid B.S. that was told to his mother at all. The boy had nothing to do with some things at all. As I say some children are totally out of it and only go by what thier parents tell them all the way around. They figure it as truth and never question squat untill things blow up with the truth in thier parents faces also. So this is pretty much a warning also to parents who bad mouth the other and the children find out differantly also. My so called step daughter is scared of the TRUTH also while I think about it becuase I refuse to lie about what happened in her life. I was married before When I did meet her father for the first time and will not deny it at all when I was 16. I figured he diden't want 3 more children ontop of his supposad daughter also.

Got alot done

Well I got alot done yesterday. Now to get the rest of the housework done today of course. The kitchen doesen't look so bad after I tagged most of it down yesterday. So it was not as bad as I thought it was at all. Also I had uncontrolled laughter last night while I was at it all. I coulden't help myself at all. As they all say if you do not want to be found out do not post any pictures at all over the net. I can say that I did find out and a few other things and I am fine with it all now and it is still not my loss on alot of things. Pluss all the more reason to be that much cheaper around here after all that has went down in the past few months. One of the things that I can controle and see what else I can do to cut the bills around here. Of course by the time I get a place someone will always tell where I am at and it is not my family doing it all also. Oh well I guess things could be worse around here even though its bad enough. At this point in time niether one of us are hurting for nothing at all and some are happy that I am staying home to work and take care of the can. Pluss I have got alot cheaper around here also in the past few months anyway and I am not minding it. When I can unplug the coffee pot and several other things while I am at it all it is a good thing around here knowing it is not driveing me up the wall to have some things turned off.

Monday again

Well I get to majorly clean today of course since it is Monday around here. I started picking up after my Hubby left yesterday. The list means squat at this point in time that I need to make of course. I will be lost for a bit but I am seeing alot that needs to be done includeing the rest of the laundery that I diden't get to over the weekend. After my Dear Husband waited untill the last minute to bring his laundery home I had no choice to use the dryer for the last load. So now since it is going to be a good day I need to get out at least 2 more loads out on the lines and go from there on that part of the housework. Then I will have plenty of hot water for the dishes after the 2 loads of laundery. Also with being alone for the next 5 days around here I will get more done as normal without anyone under foot. Another good thing is that all of the power strips except for one is totally turned off at this point in time in the morning while I am at it all around here. What gets to some folks that do come over to my place get mad that I do this around here so I can get some work done here in the can. I am also saveing on the power bill once said and done while I am at it all. I have been doing this part for years now for the unplugging things during the day. After I got laid off from the one company and my Husband was still working for the guy I started to realize that during the day I can go without and get more done by haveing everything off around here. Then I noticed that the power bill dropped over 100 dollars during the month at the time also. Now the power bill has dropped almost another 50 dollars once again after I put in the power strips and started turning off everything at the power strips also during the day. The place stays cooler in the summer without most of the stuff going also during the day and I do have a fan going since the bedroom is about the coolest spot also. With the A/C unit going I will have a fan in the hallway door pointing out into the main room also to get the cooler air going. The funny thing is there are several tricks to use while saveing money. Some say to turn off the A/C during the day. That is fine if you live alone and if the place does not heat up over 100 degreese with the windows closed. And if you do not have pets in the place also. I will try to go without the A/C unit this year as much as possible and keep the fans in the windows around here. When some folks come over they do forget about the birds being here. so they try to leave the door open for 5 min during the winter time. I do not need sick birds and another vet bill in the winter time at all. Then they all forget that I do not live off the system also like some neighbors do. I streach out the things and money at all times and some can not stand it when they all see me do this. All I can do is shake my head at some folks that try to say that I am on the other side of it all calling me a "Rich Bitch" also. I am by no means rich at all around here. I live below our means all of the time and some do not understand why I am running my household like I am. When I first started out doing most of the things I am doing I figured lets give it a try and if it does not work fine. Alot of things worked that I did try and stuck with me from then on for the can. Now I have not dropped alot of the things and I will be adding new things to the mix around here. Like staying away from the T.V. and computer for longer periods of time and trying to get use to that part of it also. Pluss there is a few other things that I will be trying on also. Then this way if folks that come over get mad then that is on them and they all do not have to come over niether to see what I am doing to save money and streaching everything else out while I am at it also.

Trying not to

Well if the Hubby makes it out of here for waiting this long for getting his laundery out of the Rig I will be impressed. He also knew I had massive laundery going yesterday and coulden't get it out untill today of course. All I can do is shake my head on this once again and try not to fight with him at all. The rest will have to wait untill wensday for me to do around here once again. I have let some of it pile up of course becuase why bother to do one or 2 king sized sheets at a time and one blanket at a time also. Or I just may wait on the sheets only becuase I have more in the bucket that are still clean for another 3 months around here. Part of the bulk of the sheets were brand spanking new when I pulled them out of the dumpster around some places. Oh well I could think of worse things that I did not pay for at all while I have been up here of course. That is one nice thing for dumpster diveing at times of the year. And some folks ask why I do it all. Well free dishes are a good thing and dang near a full set with laidles and all. That is why I do it. Even the desks that I have had have been tossed out to the curb. I got this one for the extra storage on top and it has saved me on that part. Half of the top is dishes of course. Now with that being said that is part of the way I am dirt cheap around here. I figure why should I pay for something worth while that is still good out of the dumpster. If I can find something good out of it all. Anyway here I am sitting and thinking of makeing dinner also while I am at it all around here it will be pizza and wings for dinner. This is where scratch cooking for some of it comes in around the can. It is cheaper to make the dough myself than buying it out in the store of course around here. Pluss I know what goes into the dough also this way. SOme folks complain about it in what I do around here of course.

Wandering still

I am still wandering if what I am doing is working or not. I know I can take it even farther than I have been and still working at it all. With everything I have done so far it amazes me in how I have cut and slashed most of the bills around here. Now for alot of the bigger things around here to get them done. Since I do have both freezers full of food around here so I do not need to do any shopping for that stuff around here at all. I can hold off on the laundery deturgant also while I think of it all. Also I am thinking of alot of other things around here that I can do that while I am here by myself during the week to really drive most folks nuts around here when they come over. One of the things is unplugging the coffee pot even more pluss working on keeping the T.V. off even more this week. Alot of what I am doing has been slow over the years of course and I had no choice over it. I am working towards a cheaper and simpler way of life. Yes there are just Die Hards out there in thier ways of doing things. It is eather thier way or no way at all is how it seems. Well there are some things that I woulden't mind doing and I have to think of my Dear Hubby while I am at it all. There are some things he will not let me do to get where I want to be around here. Now with him being gone for 5 days a week he has no choice in the matter in what I do with the place. Pluss where and when I shop for the 2nd kitchen also. Now I still have some things for the truck and need to shop for the poor man again. When I can go hit 2 places and have the truck stocked up for a month if not longer and get points at one place while I am at it all. The bad part is that I can really do all of this on the cheap while I am at it and most of the stuff I will be picking up today is eather regular points or triple points for the card for Kmart. Also there's a few things that some need around here and I do not mind going and getting also. Since alot of things are on sale also the books on the go are a good thing also for long truck hauls.

Well saveing again

I went running to about 3 places today already and saved about 300 dollars while I was out. I smoke the very cheap brand and have got use to it all. At 17 dollars compaired to 95 dollars at the mini marts and grocery stores. Then a trip over to Walmart also I almost forgot that the 2nd kitchen was out of bread. So I did some running of course. At all the places I hit up today were busy. The tourist season has begun early here. I know some of the cashiers over on the res and at Walmart fairly well and they were all running ragged. Pluss both of the freezers are jamed packed as of now and I like it like that. I do not have to do any grocery shopping at this point for at least 2 months around here. That is the nice part of being stocked up also. After all of this I can say that it took some time and alot of planning to be stocked like I am. Now for what I mean by this is that I have hit up alot of sales and meal planning around here. That and coupons. Like went the Mac and Cheese is on sale let's say 10 for 10 dollars you get 20 boxes of it and run for the good stuff. IF you have coupons even better. With the boxed mac and cheese there are alot of combinations you can use it for. I would throw green beans corn and a half pound of burger and there is a meal for at least 4 folks with one box. Yes that is how broke I was at one point in time. The half pound of burger was optional also. Now I make the homemade stuff and go from there. This is what I mean for meal planning. Think of the combinations of things you can throw togeather. Someone told me just recently that her children do not have the option of asking for something else for dinner. I say it may look God awfull and it tastes better than it looks. I learned that from the woman who raised me. I would point and ask what it was, momma would tell me never mind eat. I would ask for 2nds by the time it was said and done. Sometimes the food doesen't look like it should and that is ok who needs pictures to go by in how it is suppose to look anyway. Even if you pick stuff up from the cheapest store out there you can make a meal off of about 5 dollars sometimes less sometimes more around a household. It depends on how many folks are in the household. When I say this get the groceries as cheap as you can and start planning. There are times when you have something once a week there are times when it is once a month. Like pizza is once a week sometimes around my place. Meatloaf maybe a favorite on someone elses list. It depends on the household. I also do get a hankering for fried chicken every so often. So I do not make something like that often. The best part about cooking is that you do not need the expensive stuff to cook with. Sometimes it is a wing and a prayer. Now in my place we are not huge stake eaters anymore. We eat alot of burger, chicken and pork around here. So you will see alot of those 3 things in my freezers.

More cleaning

Well I have more than I bargined for this week. I have about 6 loads of laundery waiting on me to get washed and hung out. Then I get to clean out the rig once again. Between wipeing everything down and useing odo-ban in the rig my question is when do I get to bag and tag the can. This year I refuse to wipe down the walls period becuase I do not know how long I will be here at all. And NY State has done it again around here. Still no budget has been passed at all I figure another 6 months and Niagara Falls and Old Ft. Niagara are gonna be shut down around here. There are a few other things going down also while I think about it all. When some of us try to keep the bills down as much as possible around here most folks in Albany do not care what so ever about it. That is why I ended up over at Aldi to get 8 bags of flour that has went out of controle with the price again. I paid almost a dollar more a bag than I did in January. With in how Albany is going I will almost have to go out to PA to do alot of my grocery shopping again. Trust me my dollars go farther down in PA than they do up here in NY State. When I can get 4 carts of groceries down there for about 250 for the 4 instead of one cart I think it is clear to waste the tank of gas to go down and back up to shop. There are some things that need to be done around here for some of us cutting back here in the state. I have made up my mind to go even cheaper around here granted. When some of us have are heads floating above water and the officials do not care about it or out of touch in how some of us live around here there is a problem. I say this becuase, the power bill did come down some with the taxes and not by much at all. When the taxes are 3/4 of the bill then you pretty much see what has gone on around here. I have and will contiue to cut as much as possible around here to streach out everything that I can. With everything going down like it has around here also I have realized why I have been trying to get out of the park also. The lot rent is just one reason that I hate it here the next is the so called Management also. There is alot that I can still do around here since I do keep to myself way to often around here. I could be gone for a couple of days and nobody would really know about it at all here on my end of the park untill I get back home and start unpacking the van in what I went for. I can laugh about it at this point becuase I am that quiet untill I start kicking about something. With the things are going around here in NY State I am wandering in how far I can really take the cheap side of me around here. With some folks I am already pushing my bounderies anyway. Well cooking from scratch, and cutting things down so much around here it drives some folks nuts that come over to the can. Others do not mind in what I do around here at all.

Knowing what is up

Well after I did talk with my Niece today I finally figured it all out besides of being homesick for 17 years. Under the stress that I have been under no wander why I had one of the epasodes that I always have. Between a friend and my niece they have pretty much pulled me out of my slump that I have been in the last 3 weeks around here. And if it was not for a rutine that I have had for years I do not know what I would have done in the past 3 weeks also while I have been at it all. So now since everything has been turned upside down in the past month or so I have been somewhat upset about the crap that I have made supposadly. The 2 out of 10 people said this and the rest have supported my toush on what I desidded to do around here. All I know is that I did try and fell flat on my face for what I wanted to do and it is up to the person to make it right at the moment eather way I go from now on. I am not to worried about the loss on my side of what is going on becuase I already know what is going on in the real world of things around here. Pluss I am not as stupid as some made me out to be over the past almost 17 years also in asking for money at the Spineless Bitches Mommies side of things. I can count and know about when and why of what the Hell happened around here. The door has been closed and what her father does is his own problem not on my end of things also. I expect some to open up thier flipping mouths to where we both are and some know who and why at this point also at this time. It has really took me untill today to realize on what was really going on and I put everything togeather eather way since I am that Damn Stupid to some folks here in NY State and wander why family battles go on over 300 years if not longer. With that being said I do have several outlets around here and one is being the dirt cheap person that I am at this point in time.

Looking into

I got to look into all the coupons and offers on the net here today. Lots of coupons around and rebates. Pluss all of the samples out on the net also. For the coupon use at stores a quick run down here, if it is a buy one get one free you can use 2 coupons unless the coupons states it. Now for the 10 for 10 dollars you can use 5-10 coupons for the items that you purchase. Again it depends on what the coupon states also. Also rebates come into play to save even more money around. Now I have not found many rebate forms out in the stores except places like Walgreens, Riteaid, CVS, and OfficeMax. It depends on where you shop at also. Now I have done fairly well off the coupons myself for the household. Today I did not have any coupons for the one store I went to but with the card I did manage to save over 26 dollars and get 250 points towards money off the gas. In how the point system works for the one grocery store is that for every 100 points that you get (100 dollars in groceries) you get 10 cents off. Unless they have it avertised as buy like 6 of the special products and you get like 200 bonus points. I know alot of folks who like the boxed mac and cheese I won't eat it hardly at all. I would rather have the homemade stuff than the box. Off the list that they had at the store I did get my 6 items that I will use and got the 200 points. Summer is coming and the grill will be going so that is what I did and crackers also. Both were on sale this week. I have found a cheap way of makeing the homemade mac and cheese its called Aldi or Save A Lot for thier stuff. It works out better for me in the long run. My Hubby laughs all of the time about what I do and he also knows that I will save money on the groceries eather way. Even Save A Lot has printable coupons on thier site for some of thier products. Even better yet in my book. I do shop both at Aldi and Save A Lot and will continue to do so. Prices have went sky high at Aldi around here once again. Pluss it is due to summer and being a Tourist Trap. Even the parts of my family that have been up here can not believe in how I can afford the groceries up here. I tell them all of the time coupons, sales and takeing the nickel deposits back helps. Now I have heard some folks complain about coupons. That if you get what is in the coupon stack from the paper you do not get proper meals from them. Well I have built meals out of the coupons that are worth the time and save the money to build the meals. Some folks do not plan out the meals at all in thier households and that is what gets them into trouble. I wright down all the meals that I want to make for the month and go from there. Yes there are some of the tree trunks in the spokes of the wheels sometimes and who shows up for dinner. When I say this I try to plan out and it does not always work. Then there are times where Yes I do alot of stuff that is from scratch also. Now alot of folks will tell me that is just plain out impossible to do if you are working. Not if you plan ahead and think of what and how to do something it is not impossible to do. I have found a ton of coupons by going to the web sites of places that I shop at and the products that I get. Also I have made phone calls to the companies while I was at it. The worst thing they can tell ya is no get the sunday or wensday paper for the coupons. I say fine you will loose alot of money if you want me to do it that way then. With the product going on sale and the coupon the major company has lost money with me. Be firm but not totally firm about things.

Plans for today

Ok I will be on the computer for most of the day today. I will be looking for deals and steals at places and will share them when I do find them. At this moment I know when you go to Kmart they have a key tag to save 1% when you shop there not includeing the double rewards on some of the items in the store. Then if they are doubled you get and extra 1% on the card. With the Tops bonus card when you get enough points with grocery shopping you get an amount off of the gas pluss with this card you get the double coupons also. These are the 2 off the top of my head at the moment. There are always ways to save money out in the stores. I go fairly early at times to 2 of the grocery stores here so I can stock up on some meat products. They tend to have the reduced prices in the mornings around here. What I do is I bring the meats home and split them up and throw the stuff in the freezer. It is little things like this that help save my household money. Pluss all the free stuff out there over the net. Some of us have been cutting back for awhile now. I also know that with RiteAid they have a card, then coupons, and have a rebate program. Some folks get out of that store for pennies on the dollar also. I haven't been that lucky in that store at all. I will admit I have finally got back into coupons also. I remember in what I have done with them before and need to get back into the swing of it all once again. I have also noticed that there are more dollar coupons being printed instead of cents off coupons in the papers. Now around here I know that most of the grocery stores do not take the printed coupons off the net. Walmart will take all the printed ones for sure. So sometimes I have to work harder to match up the coupons and ask do I really need something from Walmart. I also take the bottles back to the stores from the can so I can have a bit extra in the groceries for the month around here. Some of us can cut the grocery bills in half with just coupons. I have done it myself and then some. Ok I will be searching for the free stuff and post it here and I have to pay acouple of more bills.

Renewing reasons

Now I have had my reasons for foing cheaper around the can in the past 2 years if not longer. I got thinking in the past 6 weeks of how I can really piss some folks off that I know around here at all times once again. Now most of the things have not been running around here anyway that needs power and so on. I finally got a power bill under 85 dollars and likeing it all. Now for the nicer weather to come so I can hang out the laundery more often than not also to help on alot of things around here. Pluss there are several other things that have been unplugged also here in the can of course. And will be continued to be that way for a good while. I just don't give a damn in what others think about how I do things anymore around here in my own place. Even family members are SOL around here anymore in a say in what and how I do things in my own place. I have went cheaper becuase I hate to have to ask anyone for money and now I know why I went even cheaper around here besides that. I will be going to a more cheaper route around here without a problem and do not care at all. Most of the family has not been around to see how I live anyway and will never be becuase most are scared they will catch poverty if they stay at my place for to long. They were never here in the real bleak times also once I think of it when I was so down and out that I dove into dumpsters to feed the household once again. I have said before I have been on my own for almost 20 years now and now I really like it all. I have learned in what to do and not to do around my ex husband and this husband. Now I wear the pants and put the foot down in what is to happen around the can. Since I am here anywhere from 4-6 days a week and never thought twice about it all also. Pluss I do have an advantage on what goes on and I am out of my depression for the most part and found my spine once again also while I was at it all. After almost 17 years in being in the Hellhold maybe it is time for a change also and not wait around on some pansy little girl while I am at it all. Some will know where I am at along with my Hubby soon enough becuase word gets around way to quick here in Niagara Falls NY anyway weather I like it or not. So now I will be going cheaper than ever around here just to handle family my way from now on and go from there. I have became discussted with the whole mess that some folks want to use and abuse folks that I have refused to go back to my home town to watch the dirty mess that some have begun and never bothered to clean up after all of these years. After 33 years of the Horse Shit I have came to realize that I have been on my own since I was very tiny and do not mind this at all now. I have came to rather like the family not coming to see me since I did move 14 hrs away once I made up my mind to stick it all out. Now for the cheaper part of life I will stay longer off of everything untill the bills come totally down and stay there to my likeing. my best advice is to cut everything in half and keep cutting in half untill you are comfertable with it all. IF it does not work for you nor the household then drop it on the curb. There is no right way or wrong way of doing things at all in my eyes.

Eye Roll

Well the furlows have went in for NY State government. They cut the work week down to 4 days a week now. Wish I could work out of the can for 4 days a week around here. Now most of the folks are mad about the 4 day work week and how they can't survive off of the pay. This is why I get all the bills and food below what we bring in. Also I do not have all but one credit card in the can also. It gets paid every month and another 80 dollars going out. What gets to me is most of the folks hollaring about going to the 4 day work week have over extended themselves in more ways than one. I have noticed around here if you do not have 2 new cars in the driveway and a brand new house you ain't squat around here. Pluss they have to have all the newest gadgets in the place also. Yes I have some gadgets in the kitchen and I also saved and scrimped on alot of things so I could get the appliances. When I hear folks say that they are broke most times I ask what did you do with what is coming in thru the pay at the end of the week. Well the last time someone said they were broke they shown up in a brand new car and had a new shot gun also. I asked if they could boil the car and shotgun to eat them. My point is why bother to over extend yourself. In my book the what if's out rule most of the time around here. Like what if the heat goes, oven, fridge, car, ect. I have a small emergancey fund going granted around here just in case. Alot of the repairs I do myself also. Some of the people in Albany NY are very out of touch with the "Real World" in how most of us live that are scrapeing by in the world. When I can use coupons and go to the cheaper stores so can everyone else around here also. With some of the cards that I have eather I get cents off of gas pluss the sale items or the kick back on the card to where I get money for things in that store. Alot of people get madder than a wet cat in heat on a hot tin roof. Alot of it all is where you shop and how good the sales are for that week. Some folks would not be caught where I shop at all. I think the hardest part when I had eather lost a job or quit a job was the not going out to eat and watching the budget harder around here. And haveing a small budget on the groceries also.

Most is still off

Most of the can is still off around here except the monster(computer). I am slowly working thru the laundery that I diden't get to for the past 2 days around here also. Now some folks in the can with me are realizeing in what I am doing while he is gone during the week around here and today is still only Monday. More cleaning and running will be done tomarrow also while I am thinking of it all. I need to get to Aldi's to get some things and afew other places while I am at it all around here. Not that I am out of food or anything I just wanted a few extras for the can and the truck also. I think that is what has got to some today is becuase I did get alot done while he was getting the next load to get out of town with around here today. So here I am still stuck with the housework like it matters anyway I can say that I know that I still have to cut down around here without a problem. The trick with me is not watching T.V. at night most of the times and afew other things also while I am at it all. Pluss since it has been cruddy out also I have been useing the dryer. Now with this week all I will be doing from the dryer is my Hubby's stuff and I will wash mine at a later date from now on around here. I got to really thinking about this on Friday night around here is that I do not need as much motivation as I thought that I needed to really cut the power bill. Since that I already have the tools to do this I may as well use them to my advantage. This is why I let some of the laundery build up anyway around here so I have full loads and full lines out side. I have got alot of good sheets out of the garbage as of late around here I may as well let them build up untill I use most of them and then hang them out side to dry. To a point wind and sun are free in my book and both make the laundery smell nice also while outside. The thing with me is that I do not get time to laze around the place long enough to have down time except on Friday night's to watch the buff babies. It keeps the Quaker Parrots and the fur balls happy around here and it keeps me happy becuase everyone is quiet for about 2 hrs also. I do alot of things around here just to cut the costs of liveing around here and some are worth it in what I do also. Like going without the T.V. and computer all day long here and eating the leftovers for a week also. I have also cut the dryer sheets in half and steached out alot of other things also around here that nobody believes me or understands of the why I do some things. I do alot out of fource of habbit like with the dryer sheets and useing less of the laundery deturgant. Some have also laughed at me along the way like I care anyway since it is my money that is going out the door if I use what is recommended on the bottles and the box. Or I read to much in what I do eather way. Once you are totally broke or loss of both incomes you tend to try to do anything in your power to start streaching and going to the frugal side of life. It is totally sad in how some figure in todays world that will never happen to me at all now. I will not say that I have had a million dollars at all around here. My self and my Hubby are working class folks who makes ends meet with a bit extra at the end of the month even with streaching out the dollars as hard as I do around here. Since the lot rent went up to 355 a month for the trailer park and the power bill is over 70% in taxes no wander why folks can not get ahead around here at all. NY State has thier grubby paws out to some of us folks who have worked hard all of our lives. While the folks on welfare get alot more than some of do and alot of the breaks also. That is not includeing the free food they get from the food panteries and a few other places also once I think about it all.

Shakeing my head

That or I am laughing eather way. NY State went down hill and quick. Save about 100,000 grand a year in just T.P. alone makeing the workers and polotitions bring it all in along with hand soap and paper towels. If not more thru the dang year. That is my moto around here. With that being said there is a few other things that they all can do and then some to save money in Albany. As I sit here I am already plotting on what I have to do today alone and on the cheap side of course. Pluss I have to pay some bills once again around here. So I will have another busy day ahead of me getting alot of things done. Now to get everything ready for the day and everyone out of here of course and I will get started on alot more. It is nuts around here on Mondays anyway and I do not mind it what so ever at all. I better get started here very soon or nothing will get done around here at all.

Finally

I finally get to sit down for the day. The new truck was worse than the old one. The last guy who had it was a total pig and very sloppy. Well needless to say 3 hrs later and the truck is almost clean. What else can I say about it. So after I got most of the things done around here it was time to get out to Collins then I ran after that also. The dollar store was in order today after all said and done. With the wind the way it was I was not gonna chance it over the bridges over towards GI so I took 62 back into town and the Dollar General was on the way. Under 35 dollars for a change and alot of things in the cart also. Even my Hubby was impressed about it. I needed bleach for the can and got one and the other for half off. The dollar stores are worth thier weight alot of the times eather way. Some things are cheaper there than over at other stores at times. But like with every store out there you have to watch in what is purchased. I go to the dollar stores for alot of things like sheets, towels, and a few other things. Since it is still the begining of the month the store I went to was dang near empty. Here in NY State you are eather on Welfare, SS of some kind, or you work you toush off. Most of us shop at the begining of the month becuase that is how it goes. I also found out that since there is only me here most of the time I do not cook during the week at all. There are alot of things that I just will not do also being alone. Now for the week coming up there will be alot of changes in the can for the good. I will say more about this tomarrow.

About coupons

I learned early about coupons. Wahy back when the Egal Stamps were out in the stores. With being so broke in my child hood some things stuck with me and the coupons were one. Ok the best way to say this is read the coupon for what it says. If it says something to the fact of $1 off of 2 items then it means that. Now if you have a cents off coupon in your hands at lets say 35 cents most grocery stores will double it for you. Now if the item is on salefor lets say buy one get one free you can use 2 coupons on the sale Item. Now if the item is lets say 10 for 10 and the coupon reads 2 for a dollar off you can use 5 of the coupons. Now most of the coupons are explanitory anyway and that is how I figured it all out. Pluss asked questions from folks who used coupons also. Some stores do not take printed coupons off the net anymore at all. I know Walmart does and Kmart around here does also. IF your grocery store takes the printed coupons off the net you are so lucky in my eyes. With myself here the 2 stores use to take the printed coupons eather way and no more. So I would look at the sale adds of the store and match up the coupons with the sales. I would get about 60 dollars if not more in coupons for the sales and go and that is whithout the club card that they have at the store also. That is why some of the cashiers do not like me what so ever at one of the stores to this day. Some of the cashiers do not mind takeing alot of coupons also. It really depends on the person and what end of the shift they are on also. If it was me bring on the coupons and the card let me scan the coupons and let me look pretty for 5 min or so. I look at it like this the poor person does not have to lift nothing for that period of time. Like over at Walmart the other day I told her straight out I am on foot I do not expect ya to lift what I got in the cart and that I have to drag it all home. The poor girl dang near kissed me for not makeing her do the heavy lifting and all I could say was you are welcome sweetie. So some things I can understand eather way becuase I have worked in a gas station before. And I remember what it was like to slug the 30 packs and a few other things around myself.

Laundery day

Well I get to start in on the laundery today. I guess it is not that bad at all. I just have to get started in on it. I have been doing the small stuff all week anyway and it seems to go better than trying to do all the laundery once aweek around here. Now I know what most say do full loads of laundery at all times. Well with the auto level for the water on the washer that I have makes it easier to throw in the half load of laundery. The water levels will always be right on the auto settings. I have also noticed that my water bill went down by 30 dollars for 3 months also with the washer that I did get last year. The one sales girl tried to get me to get the front loader. At that point I still wanted the top loader washer. Since liveing in a trailer I have to worry about getting stuff thru the doors around here. Try to explain to some of the drivers that things won't fit thru the one door for the hallway to get it in thru the front door. So I got what I wanted at the time and for 30 dollars extra I got the H E model of the washer and it has paid me back within a year. I am useing alot less laundery deturgant, water, and power all at the same time. Now with the old washer I was getting the Tandel deturgant before it went watery. I used in what the bottle called for and had suds all over the bathroom floor and out into the hallway. Well the floor was clean after that and I used a fraction of it and had suds still in the washer. I am useing Purex at the moment untill I run out of it and going to the Green Works laundery deturgant. I will let you know how it works when I break into it. I have noticed that some of the deturgants go on sale at times of the year around here. So I pick up at least 2 depending on the sales of the time. Last time I went I picked up 2 bottles for the price of one. Now I do try to keep stocked up on alot of things around here of course. IF there are huge sales I am there along with a fistfull of coupons to go with the sales. That is how I work my place. I will go into the coupons later on today.

I can't wait

I know I can't wait around for the idiots here in the park to do anything at all. All I can do is shake my head at most of them around and go from there. Pluss I know that there is no hope for trailer 34 at all around here while I am at it all. This is why I am trying to go cheaper around here to get the Hell out of here and away from the stupidity of some folks around here. Well the loss of one more lot rent will not totally hurt the Park Owners niether. That is how I have to look at things around here. Well between catching up on the bass of the raido from across the street coming thru the walls and myself trying to read around here I gave up totally. Now also I am letting the boys scream and hollar I can tolorate that much at least. I would rather hear the birds at this point. Now I will admit to that I watch to much T.V. sometimes around here and can understand why some folks only hang out with thier birds also and only get out when they absolutely have to. Well I am getting the both of them to start talking also while I am at it all. Some things are bareable around here at least. Also I did alot of the house work this morning while I was at it all. I vaced the carpets and dusted once again this morning. Between the old dryer sheets and the swifter duster cloths I am inpressed on it all. It is amazeing in how dusty a place can be. Now I have worked in the hotel seen for awhile and talk about dust collecting. Sometimes it was worse than takeing the computers apart at another job also. Well after this week I think my poor Hubby has a new truck after all from the company now. Or a new used truck (giggleing). Well the big ones do wear out after awhile also. Now after being a truckers wife for so long that it does not bother me about some things at all. The Hubby can go for a month and It does not matter to me at all. I can keep busy for the month also. Pluss work out another budget for while he is gone. It is not hard to do let me tell ya around here to see where I can cut the "fat" out of the budget without a problem at all. That is one thing that keeps me on my toes alot of the times. That and thinking of how to cut things down to where things still work for the can at this point. Pluss I know that my Hubby will be in tomarrow if it is up to the dispatch folks at the company. So lets see what I can do around here to keep the bills down and a few other things also.
