Alot done

I got alot done yesterday. I did alot of things on the cheap around here and liked it all. Even the windows were wide open by the time the rain stoped. Who needs the A/C unit going when you can have the windows open and the birds were very happy about it. Pluss Alice was wistleing really pretty on top of it. Olliver is still trying to talk also. Yes my can is pretty much nuts during the day. Now you know why I like to excape somethimes. I have been plotting for the day also and what to do around here. Another 2 loads of laundery will not hurt me today at all and then get the carpets done and over with also. Since yesterday I got the Hubby back to work I have been going thru the can slowly cleaning. Pluss his rig was not ready yet who knew that they would find other things that needed repaired on it while they were all at it. All I could do was laugh about it becuase that is how it goes sometimes. I also got 15 cents out of the yard in cans. The kids in the neighborhood are slobs and leave cans and plastic bottles in the pine trees in the yard. Thier loss and my gain all of the time. Well you can tell the first of the month around here at all times becuase I get more nickles in the yard and trees. Alot of the families around here are on some kind of assistiance around here in the trailer park. It just does not suprize me at all anymore. When I can sit here and say several years ago when I was getting food stamps I was getting alot less than most people around here at the time for a family of 2 and 850 a month of an income. Well that is when I started trying new things around here and streaching everything out that I could and it has stuck with me in thru the past 12 years. In what some do is discusting in what they all buy off that part of the welfare. Alot of what they get in garbage food as I call it. Between the chips and cookies and that is half of the cart most of the time when they get the stamps at the begining of the month. Well I learned fairly quick to start bakeing while I had one day off a week early on. So that is why flour is one of the staples in my place. Pluss the 5-10 lbs of potatoes also. Once you get use to cooking on a tight budget it is hard to shake it when you get thrown off the food stamps. Now with what is going down I still have the tight budget for the grocery store and I do shop at least 3 places here that are fairly close to the can. Then for the cleaning needs for the can with the dollar stores and a few other places that have the products that I want and where I can get some things for cheaper than other palces also. Well I totally forgot that I did get alot of double rewards on some items at Kmart on Sunday also. I needed to get some things becuase I was almost out of the things that I needed and just never picked up becuase it was not on sale nor did I have the coupons for the items untill I got the paper. The card is a nice way to save up enough for a big trip for shopping around my place. When December comes around I will not have to worry as much to go shopping at Kmart. Yes I am saveing up the money on the card so I can get alot of the household needs that come with it. Some folks thing that 80 cents is a big deal coming off the total bill. I will love to see the peoples faces behind me when I cash in mine in December of this year. Well if I can get something cheaper at Kmart I am there. My Hubby was shocked when he picked up a gas can for the lawn mower on Sunday. It was half price this week. The poor cashier said she was getting 2 before she left for the day becuase she needed them. I can say that I am getting tighter and tighter around here. When the good sales are going with the coupons on top of the sales and for 150 loads of fabric softener is 6 dollars for the good stuff by the time I got done on Sunday I could not pass it up since I will be running out of the stuff quickly here. Hanging out laundery is not so bad at all in my book. The funny thing about it all is that it drives some of the neighbors nuts when I start hanging several lines out of clean laundery within the day. Why run the dryer when I do not have to at all around here and heat up the can even more. Some of the folks around here figure that I am the nut on the block anyway untill they figure out in what I am doing to go cheap around here. Pluss not only that I am doing new things also around here to help save money in my own way. Well everything is coming along and I want to see some of the bills around here for the month anyway to see if I can do more during the 5 days that I am here alone. What I am about to do around here and I hope I can make it all last is that I want to cut the T.V. off for most of the night around here and see what happends with that end of things. Ok I am off to start in on some things around here and will be back later on this afternoon or tonight.
