Thinking

Well it looks like rain for the weekend around here.  I am thinking of getting another drying rack for the household.  Or I may just wait on it I am not sure in what I want to do as of yet.  With alot of the things that I need to do for today it seems wierd that I can still hang the laundery here in the can.  The other night when I was out I did bring someone else with me.  So we got to talking about hanging out the laundery.  The person who was with me said to pop the jeans in the dryer for 10 min after they come off the line.  I started laughing about it becuase I do not like running the dryer anyway during the summer months.  With the last power bill over 154 dollars this month I refuse to run the dryer.  With alot of things around here I am better off just hanging out the laundery or hanging it here in the can.  There are just somethings that I want to do for the place and some folks do not like it at all.  When I can say that some months are worse than others they are around here.  My Husband is and has let me go for what I need to do around here to go that much cheaper also while I am at it all.  I think in what gets to alot of folks is that I can streach out the dollar pretty hard around here and mean every bit of it.  When I said something about getting the deposit back on the cans we pick up around here I ment it also.  My Husband has me beat on that since alot of the drivers just hand over the cans and or bottles to him out on the road.  Pluss he hits more parking lots also while he is at it all.  The nickels will go into the housefund for now and I can get more of the returns later for the wood burning stove that I want.  The funny part is around here is that here I am doing what I can to be on the cheap/frugal side and I get hollared at by some people who are pigs to say the least.  They throw out the bottle returns becuase it is to much of a pain to take them back to some folks, then I cut the power off to both T.V.'s, boxes along with the modem.  I also turn off the computer while I am at it during the day around here.  When some people realize that I do this they get mad that I am in a quiet place for the most part around here and I get the bottles as soon as they hit the recycle bins also around here.  Also since my Husband brings home 2 black bags of the returns for every 2 weeks some do not understand that I take them up to the store and cash in the 10 to 12 dollars and plunk it into another account.  That is not includeing what I get around here from the neighborhood and here in the household.  When people say there is extra money laying around they have looked around also.  I will say the same thing for the states who have the bottle returns also.  Alot of places if you crush the can you can get paid for it also and make some money from the recycle trucks that they have out.  So it does pay off in a way to cash in the bottle returns eather way.  And yes it does take work to get the money back eather way you go around here.
