Well yesterday afternoon I ran into an old neighbor totally in the one grocery store here in the area.  Since I needed several things for the household anyway and took my Husband along with me after I picked him up also I thought it would be a good time to go by that point.  Well I found out that the guy retired and has been hollering about the prices at the stores also now since he knows in how I really am about saving money still to this day here.  So with the 2 chickens that were in my cart with blocks of cheese also and many other items that I needed for the place anyway we all got to talking about what we all were doing for to be cheap in the places that we are at and still at by this point in time.  The guy asked straight out if I was still cooking for my place and I said yes with afew other words in what I said and he wanted the cheep home cooking that I have been doing ever since he met me almost 21 years ago.  There comes a point to where I have kept a tight budget on the groceries that have been bought for the place and kept it all going also at this time while I have been at it.  Since I get alot of chicken for the place along with the reduced priced meats for the household still to this day it helps out alot and even more than what others will realize at this time.  This is also in why I keep alot of pastas, rice, butter, flour, chicken, yeast, and baking powder in the house at all times nomatter in what is going on with the prices.  Another thing is that I try to keep the romen noodles in the household also still to this day since I tend to run out of leftovers at times while I am at it all.  With the prices in todays world here and depending on where I am I will pick up blocks of cheese and shred it myself since it is cheaper to do so anyway for the household.  Another thing that I have done here for the place this past year is to have the garden in the back yard.  That has helped on some of the costs for the winter months so far here also while I have been at it all.  There will always be a grocery bill at my place untill I can save up the money for other means for things here totally and that can not be helped at all at this time.  With my Husband he has realized this part and knows also in what I am doing for alot of things at this point in time about it all now.  So alot of times I will get the last laugh on alot of things that some people will say to me and or cut me down for what I do at this time also.
