Eye roll at NY State

Well we may not have a government as of Monday around here at all.  Pluss most folks are screwed that are on the system if that happends.  They are even talking about not paying the cash grants and food stamps also.  Like some of the folks up here really need the food stamps around here anyway.  When I heard that this morning on the news it got a huge eye roll out of me around here.  Now with around here I do have a strict budget and do not spend more money than is coming in around here unlike the government here in NY State.  I will say it again most of the folks in Albany should bring in thier own T.P. and other things to the office to save money.  When I can sit here and cut the fat out of my budget then so can the government of NY.  There are some things that I would love to have around here like a bigger place and other things also.  I don't only becuase I refuse to go into debt even more over it.  As I sit here and think of what all that I do during the day without haveing anything on hardly here in the can it is hard to believe that the taxes on the power bill are more than what I use around here in the power its self.  Just the taxes on the power bills alone should be bringing a million dollars to the state a month that is judgeing on what I see out of that bill coming in here.  When I can sit here and think of all the ways I can cut the bills around here even further as of yesterday I will end up doing that also.  My Husband thinks I am nuts in how I do things and they work.  I am still working on keeping everything off during the day eather way around here and some days are harder than others.  All I can do is what I do and take it further than need be around here and it will get done also.  When you hear folks say to turn off the computer it will last longer they are right on the money for that one.  Becuase when you leave it on even in standby moad everything is still on and working on the computer.  Save the wear and tear on it.  I turn mine off normally Monday thru Fridays during the day around here without a problem and turn off the power strip also for the router and modem.  Ok so I do not have the house phone during the day at all when it is shut down.  That is why I have a cell phone also pluss when the power goes totally out I do have a back up system in place while I am at it all.  Also I turn off the T.V. during the day along with the cable box by the power strips also to save on the power bills.  That along with not useing the dryer at all around here starting out in the spring to the middle of fall also.  There are things that put out heat and who needs that.  So that is part of what Albany's problem also is that they do not think on some things to save money in the office at all and most of it is wastefull spending in the offices.  When will the goverment learn here in NY State more than likely never.  They all want the pay check and do not do anything around here for what they all get paid to do.  The budget is almost 3 months late and they do not give a Damn also.
