Laughing

Well yesterday I got farther than what I thought I did.  I looked around this morning and knowing I need to do more work around here it is ok.  For now it is nice and quiet around here.  The birds havent even chirped to be uncovered as of yet.  Anyway I am still thinking of ways to cut the costs around here to say the least.  My Husband looked at me very funny lastnight when he walked thru the door.  So I told him that everyone was snappy and deal with it since I had the T.V. off along with other things for most of the day.  Also he realized that when I start to cook this weekend it is going to be a 15 dollar weekend for both days that he is home also.  The poor man doesen't get scared when I do this at all.  Pluss I will have leftovers for the week after I get done for today and tomarrow.  This is why I laugh alot of the times around here.  Knowing that I have a budget and stick to it and knowing that NY State can not do it at all in Albany.  Now I have been saying for years around here have one of the government people stay acouple of months around here and see how some of us really live.  With myself and the household I have to be cheap around here at all times and streach out the dollars to the max.  Leftovers is one way I streach out the dollars here.  Another is useing less of the cleaning products here in the can.  Some folks are horrified in what I do not get at the stores and do not even think about getting also.  When I say this most stakes are off the list alnong with higher priced sea food also.  There is enough food out there without getting those 2 things.  I do not make fancy dinner parties also while I am at it.  When I do throw the get togethers it is in a huge dishes or bakeing pans and it is help yourself along with bring your own drinks.  Pluss who needs the radio when the inter net is playing good music also around here.  When I can get the get togeathers going and have food for 10 people for under 4 dollars a person and they will not leave here hungery niether, you know I am doing something right around here.  That is why I get mad at the government around here in NY.  Most of them do not have a clue as to how to save money since they rake in the dollars.  With alot of things that I end up doing like cutting the dryer sheets in half and useing less deturgant here for the laundery I have had folks hollar at me that I am useing way to little of the stuff.  I laugh about it and ask who many bottles they go thru a year in laundery deturgant in thier place.  Most of the time it is about 10 bottles compaired to my 4 to 6 bottles a year.  It depends on the deturgant and how many loads of laundery that go thru the washer.  Pluss the maid does not come in and do housework for me niether around here since I am the maid.  Alot of the government here in the State of NY would be shocked in how I do run the can.
