A day of cooking
Well today I will be cooking for most of the day around here. I could figure alot worse things that I could be doing other than that. Pluss I will be cooking on the cheap while I am at it all also may as well as I look at it. A nice thing about cooking on the cheap is that you never know in what you might come up with for dinners and breakfasts during the day. Yes granted in my place there is some stuff that I always have. Others not so often around but,to give a veriaty in the can. Some folks do not realize in what I really do also. I may spend about 200 dollars a month around here and I do make plans of what I want for dinner most of the time also. That is off the once a month shopping. I get alot of chicken and burger for the place. Last month sausage was on sale constantly and I had coupons for the sausage rolls also so I stocked up on that part of it all. With that being said I also have noodles in the place with canned cream soups to go along with what is here in the place. Now there are also things I will never do without here in my place at all. Onions, potatoes, rice, flour, yeast, bakeing powder, and garlic. All of the items I won't do without are the fairly cheap staples that I use on a constant basis around here. Along with the cheap noodle soup packets. When I start with eather the main meat dish I put in the add ons with it. The plan will work for the month as to chicken with potatoes and a veggie, then the next night if I have leftovers from the chicken then it becomes a chicken cassarole. That is how I work the grocery budget around here and end up with a months worth of meals here. Pluss I may have one dish as leftovers also around here for the week. It depends on how much I cook on the weekends also. Now if your household is not a big leftover fan, mix up the leftovers. Make something totally new out of it. I have never seen the leftovers hurt anyone as of yet in over 30 years. The leftovers when I have them saved my place to many times to count also in the past 16 years. There are things that are better the next day also once you think about it. For tonight with dinner is a hamberger fries cassarole. It is not hard to make at all. Tomarrow night may be all breakfast foods for dinner around here. That is what I call mixing up food ideas also. I find it easier to do this becuase my Husband is not that picky at all about what gets slapped on the table. I better get started on somethings around here so I can have dinner by the Hubbs gets back.
