Trying something new

Well as of this morning I am trying to keep the coffee in the crafe that I have. As soon as the pot of coffee is brewed it automaticly goes to the crafe. I figured it would save about 6 dollars in power around here in just the coffee pot alone. I have made some changes after yesterday morning and got to really thinking about it all when there was total silents on this end of the park. Well I finally got my Husband to explain why he said no to a friend about moveing to the Southern Tier. Well after all said and done he said that I was nobodies maid also and the answer is still no. I went postal the last time I got treated as a maid and the slave in my own place. I can understand why my Husband said no eather way. Granted I keep to myself anyway, but do not totally isolate me just for the hell of things. I do plan out alot of things around here and I mainly do it a month at a time anyway. To plan out 3 months at a time is just to much when you are not use to it at all. Anyway at least I do shop once a month for the main bulk of the food for the can/household. I know that seems strange to alot of folks. There are some things that I have to get thru the month eather way. I am trying to stop that part at the moment and just go back to once a month shopping. Now I have the grocery bill includeing a few other things comes out to be about 200 dollars a month for 2 of us. Yes granted I do streach the dollars out for groceries around my place. Now normally I get 8 bags of flour from Aldi's every month to 2 months. It depends on how many recipies have flour in them that I cook thru the month. I know of a couple who gets about 275 a month in food stamps. They have almost ran out of food within 2 weeks also of getting them. The both of them would have never survived off of what I got a month years ago. Pluss I was working 80 hrs a week also while I was at it all. I had to find the time to cook, clean, and get to the store. Then everything came back to me on cooking on the cheap also. The both of us in the can ended up with so much rice and a few other things that I started coming up with odd ball combinations on cooking. That is where my beans in mater sauce, rice, and a can of maters came into play. That was a weeks worth of meals right there. I can laugh about it now but, at the time it wasen't at all funny. Also there comes a point to where that is when the total meal planing comes out also. When I found www.hillbillyhousewife.com I loved it. Susanne gave me alot of meals that I had forgot about that were and still are on the cheap. There are alot of things that I have made and got by with in my place. When I only had about 20 dollars for the month to make a months worth of meals out of I got to thinking in how I could do this. It also helps out when you have some things on hand also in the household or the canhold. I started pulling some things in what I use to do when I was really broke also. That is where the dozen eggs, 2 bags of flour, a bag of onions, 2 bags of rice, pluss 2 hamberger bullets, 12 pack of the munchun soups packets, a jar of yeast, and bakeing powder. Well we ate at least in the place and it worked untill the pay checks started coming in again. It wasen't pretty at all when I would start to cook. With the last few days here I did get some things while I was at the flea market also. I was laughing about it yesterday afternoon becuase I got at least 2 weeks worth of food for about 75 dollars. My Husband was in shock over it all. Now granted around here my food bill went up by another 50 dollars becuase I have another kitchen to run while I am at it all. In what I try to do is get everything as cheap as possible around here for both kitchens. Since the truck is way to small to have a fridge in it I have to think of to get things like peanut butter and a few others so my Hsuband can eat also and not pay an arm and a leg for things out on the road. Some folks it would eat up thier pay checks if they only knew. Ok folks it is time to hang out the first load of laundery already.
