Well I get to cook today

I will be cooking for most of the day today. I am not worried about it at all around here. It is just alot of prep work to get more done. At least I will be cooking for family that I like also around here. The fun part is that I will not have any leftovers by the time everyone is done eating. Some will be missing out of the good food and conversation of it all. After I got the sauce done about 2 weeks ago I have had some happy campers in my can. The sauce wasen't as expensive as some might think of it. That is what I get for shopping the bargin racks for the dent cans of tomatoes. One of the cashiers where I go to to hit the rack has been there for years she started laughing becuase she knew that I was going to make sauce and cookies when I put away the groceries that day. Well after 10 years of her working at the one store you get to know folks after that long. So anyway the meatballs will be done today and 2 loaves of bread also. So I will have a somewhat busy day today. Pluss knowing the boys they will be wanting to be picked up also. Just another day in my place I could say. Well at least I am never board around here with cleaning and a few other things that go on. And I have lost most of the family drama also this week and I am likeing it. Here is for another 300 years of fueds in the family. The only drama that I really get is the kids outside. Go figure on that one and most of them I point and laugh at anyway. One of the neighbors had asked me how I manage to do things around here on the cheap. I told him some of the things that I did and he said he coulden't do it that way. I told him it was his loss on the few things that I had told him about. Well some things are easy like cutting the dryer sheets in half and useing less laundery deturgant. There are ways to cut costs all of the time in the household. Most of it I have been doing for years just to streach out everything. Some things do not work for me at all that I have tried. Like washing the foil after I get done bakeing. Some of the plastic bags I do reuse. When I go to cut the dryer sheets I do not bother to wash them out at all and the bags are still good. I get have of a box of the sheets cut them in half and plunk them in the zipper bags. Yes it gets smelly while you are cutting them and that is ok. I have not bought dryer sheets for about a year now. When I get what I call loose burger the stuff that comes from the meat counter. I split it in half pound sizes for the can around here. That is some of the tricks. Another is when you go to pre treat something for the laundery in what I do is spray it down rub for a min and throw it in the pile of the dirty stuff. The things do not have spots at all after I started with that. I will say it again there is no right nor wrong way of being cheap. It depends on the person and the household.
