Rain today

Well when I got up this morning it was already raining. The boys are talking up a storm also this morning. I guess it could be worse. With the day begining I am not sure in what I want to do and I know I have housework to do today. Last night was not a good night at all. I got asked to do something and I want no part of it knowing what has happened 8 years ago with the children. Even though it was found not true in what was said that happened. So with some children I just won't take in at all. Pluss I would have to really think of 3 children to feed also. Some do not know what has gone one period with the 3. Some folks figure that I can take children in for 3 days and not get paid for takeing in the children. Then there is the fact of 3 meals a day and try to figure out with 3 children growing also and CPS knocking at the door becuase of thier father. I have always tried to keep food and other things in the can anyway. Well I am not knocking the children's mother at all I just don't want the problems that goes with the so called father. Since they are on total solid foods now I can really cook on the cheap for the children at this point in time. Pluss I can slip in the vegies without a problem also. The funny thing is, is that some do not realize that I can cook fairly cheap and have enough for a family of 5 without a problem. And have it down to a dollar a person while I am at it all along with some leftovers for the next day. It includes alot of pasta and rice. Some folks have freaked out with what I do cook around here and make it all work. On the food network channel I have alot of the girls beat to a pulp when it comes to cooking on a tight budget around here. When some say 4 folks for 10 dollars that is way to much to me for dinners in my place. Then again there is not much beef in my house except for burger. And there is alot of chicken in the freezer also. Well chicken is so cheap most of the time that it does help. Also I have a rotissory in the convection oven. That is one of the things that sold me on the convection oven besides holding a 12 muffin pan without a problem in it. It works wanders here in keeping the food warm if I am still makeing food and need to keep some things warm. I will start useing the convection oven in the summer months around my place becuase it doesen't heat up the place like the oven does. Now for the cooking on the cheap figure what works best for your place. Now with here I can make some things without a problem at all. There for awhile I thought I was sick of rice and pasta. We had it constantly around here. Then I started mixing it all up. There are nights when I feel like something totally differant also. Now for football season I do make alot of pizza on Sundays. That is how it goes around here. Right along with other finger foods also. Anyway if you plan out a meal it becomes cheaper on you.
