Cooking again

Well I got to the doctors office today and got out with alittle girl talk also.  Cast iron always does the trick in some households to say the least.  And I let one know where to pick up a great deal on the frying pans also while I was at it.  Light enough to where I can pick it up and cook with it and still sling it around if and when I have to.  Then some understood in what I was talking about.  Alittle back ground married way to young and got beat by my ex husband the best advice that my Mom could ever give me was you have the cast iron use it girl.  Either way it is not pretty after I get done around my place when this Husband messes up.  We all got to laughing about it the other day when a friend was over here.  So now that will bother me all day until I can get to see someone again around here.  Pluss the poor woman knows I am cheap to boot around my place.  We always laugh about it and it is true now.  I did end up over at Ollie's today after the doctors office and now I am happy I did go over there to say the least.  I ended up with a skillet and a chrome drying rack today while I was there.  As the guy told me when I stoped him to ask he was like you will like this one better than the other one we all have.  So now I have got the other rack that I needed for the place and I can hang blankets up on the line if they are way to big for the racks.  The guy asked in how I liked them and I told him that the metal racks did better for my place than the wooden ones all together.  And that they do work if you do half loads with one rack.  He was amazed that I gave an honest opinion on the matter pluss he knew that it was gonna be a rainy day outside also.  Now that I can hang total laundry inside the can and another place it is ok now with alot of what we will be saving around the place for the power bill.  Alot of the older folks were like WOW with me today.  One woman asked if I liked to hang laundry up and I said yes.  I got a chuckle out of it while I was at the store and she said in response to me is that you were born in the wrongest time frame.  All I could tell the older woman is that I am the cheap one out of the bunch also and I am still young.  Well what else could I day about it I do not want to run up my power bill anymore than what it is at this point in time nor the gas bill.  So here I am and I got alot of things done includeing 2 loads of dishes, a load of laundery, up to the doctors office, pluss cooking an early dinner around here.  I can not forget that I went somewhat shopping also for the place.  So I have had a Monday on a Tuesday morning around here.  Ok I never said I was right half the time(giggleing).  When I can save money for the household around here I will do it of course.  This is what alot of folks can not understand about me at all.  My Niece was like I diden't know you shopped over at that place also as she was dragging in more stuff that I got out of the van.  For what I got today it will save me in the long run around the dump.  Tomarrow I will end up getting more done without a problem.  With the laundery rack that will save me another 50 dollars a month easy around here in the Trailer Park.  That is what gets to me around here is that when I use the dryer all of the time it is a 150 dollar power bill eather way I go during the winter time around here.  So now to break everyone of the nasty habits around here to say the least around here for the good of the household and the cheapness.  So now that I can say that with the extra rack around here and afew other things that I am doing for the household I told my Niece that we all have to save on the power and a few other things around the place from this point forward.  What some do not know in what I have done will not hurt them at all niether around here at all.  This is what gets to some also around the place is that I am cheaper than dog snot and way cheaper than what household previously to mine.  Just today I had to show my Niece in how to make homemade gravy from scratch.  Not everything comes in packets from the grocery store at all.  It totally shocked her that I can do alot of things on the total cheap around the kitchen.  Pluss it went well with the salt pork that I picked up yesterday for food.  With that being said Nancy Hammond has shooed the kids out of the kitchen so they could not learn anything for cooking wise at her place.  So now I get to teach Nancy Hammond's granddaughter (one of them) in how to cook for the household and for the cheap.  Also I have been cutting the power during the day around here and got to the cable box while I was alone this morning.  So now that puts at least one of us home at all times around here and to save money at the same time I am all for it around the dump.
