Shakeing my head

Well I am shaking my head around here once again.  The news is on already this morning and they were talking about coupons on the savings for you.  What they all did not say is that if it is buy one get one free and what the coupon states is that you can use the 75 cent coupon get the double coupon off pluss the dollar coupon because you are buying 2 items anyway and the sales with the coupons also.  What some folks will not tell you about coupons around the sites on the web and news.  Pluss they were talking about the pre chopped stuff and the other produce that you can get in the grocery stores.  I almost fell out of my chair with laughter around here when they started on that part.  The 5-10 pluss pounds of what ever is always cheaper than the loose stuff that you can get in the stores.  With some folks it depends on what they all want and how much food they go thru a month also.  Or if they do not care in how much they spend at the store.  I know some folks that figures it is only money anyway.  It is like they haven't been on the really broke end of life and had to do what I have done around here at all to get groceries for the household at all.  The bargain rack with coupons and going behind the store to snag the bread that was a day old for to feed the household.  This is what some folks do not understand at all that have been to that point in life.  So now since some of us can do abit of damage at the stores now and do it under 250 dollars a month around here that includes cleaners T.P. and other things for the household.  Now that does not include the 2nd kitchen hardly here at all.  What I end up doing is going to Aldi, Wegmans, and Kmart for the second kitchen.  There are some things that look better here than others for the 2nd kitchen so it depends on what mood that I am in and what my Husband gets for the month around here also.  With alot of things going on around here and thanks to my Husband's Pilot card for the gas he will be able to get alot more than what we can afford for the truck.  In how that works is every time he fuels the truck he gets points on the card.  When it comes down to it at between the 150 to 200 gallons of fuel at a time and at 300-400 dollars a pop if not more to fill the tanks for the diesel he started to save the points for stuff like a T.V. and microwave for the truck from the store part.  My answer was to bad we couldn't both have a card and combine the points off of both of them.  Since I do pass a Pilot station on the 219 going and coming from PA.  It may not be much in gas points with the van at all and it still works.  When I started down the pathway of being cheap is when I was totally broke and felt that I had to do something to do everything cheaper around the household.  So it really started when I was 16 and it has got alot better with time becuase I had some knowledge and took it to the next level when I got the computer so I could put it all togeather around here in NY State.  And here I was thinking Illinois was bad NY is much much worse.  So now with lastnight since my Niece and I went out to Kmart to get another drying rack for laundery and a few other things for around here.  Now that part of the Power Bill will come down around here since I will not be running the dryer that much at all around here from now on.  With the towels around here I can put them on the rack and put the fan on them to help dry them quicker.  The trick is is in this place is smaller loads and it goes quicker.  Ok so it is a slow task to get done around here and it will get done eather way.  The fun part is that the cheap/frugal way is what you make of it.  Somethings do not work work for every household.  So pick and choose what you want to start out with try it and if it does not work then drop it.  If you jump in to fast in a household you might just get slack and seem like you are getting nowhere if you do not include everyone that is in the household.  With children in the household they want to try to please the parent(s) eather way.  Just like with my Niece I shown her how I do it and she was doing something that I thought was out of the norm around here and asked what the heack are ya doing girl and once she shown me I let it go.  She did what I had asked her to do around here and it works in how she did it also.  I told my Niece in what my mother told me at a young age I don't care in how you get from point A to B as long as you figure out the easy and cheap way for you to do after I show you the way I do it.  Some children are sight and do others just do.  With my Niece if I leave a list for her she will do what is on the list and I do not care in what she does first as long as it gets done around here.  With some folks like Nancy Hammond they over load the children in the household with chores and that is not cool when she plops her toush on the sofa and says oh well do it or else.  My Niece has figured out that I do what I can around the household and go from there.  If I do not get to it that day then it waits untill the next day.  Pluss the girl has figured out that I just can't sit around and do nothing around here at all.  Now the fun has been begun around here with more laundery.  The towels have over took the household and I am trying to get a handle on it as of now.  So eather way it will be a chalange to get alot of it done around here eather way I go.  It will take me acouple of days at least here to get it done of course.  When I can sit here and get alot of things done here alone it is always a good thing.  Also with alot of other things we both agreed to burn candles early in the morning to save some money around here instead of running the lights in the kitchen.
