Never said I was right

Well yesterday my niece was hollering about the box shutting down at 10 pm the night before around here.  So I shoved her out of the room so I could fix the box again because she wanted to see a movie.  So I granted her the wish on that part since Monday she starts babysitting.  It kicked off about 3 min after the movie so I was not to worried about it last night.  Also we all found out that on Friday nights that we need the Syfy channel for the household.  Gotta keep everyone happy around here the feather balls and the fur balls.  So now to let others know what us girls found out on Wednesday here.  It will not be that bad here since my Husband will be happy after that.  Oh well.  Now for today I get to mix the feather balls seeds and feed the out side birds.  For the bird seeds I do not have to get any more around here for out side when I start switching the food here in the can.  So yes it is a 2 for 1 shot around here.  I switch the feed every other day around here for the boys inside.  Yes we go thru about 20 dollars every 2-3 months around here for seed so it is not that bad for 2 birds.  The left overs go outside on top of it.  That is how I stretch out that part of the household here.  My Niece was shocked when I said why do I need to buy another bag while we were at Walmart yesterday.  She looked at me and said for the birds outside.  I told her that why when I have the one bucket that needs to go outside already and that will fill it for acouple of days.  The poor girl never has been shown alot of things down at the Hammond's at all.  I guess some hinder and shelter their children to the point that they can't function in the "Real World" at all so they have to depend on that person or other people that come along.  So yes it has been a crash course in the past 4 almost 5 weeks around here for the poor girl.  I think that is what is getting to some people is that I am teaching someone here in my household to get her ready for when she decides to fly the nest to be out on her own.  I have at least 2 years around here to teach her alot of things around here.  Pluss with some things that I have learned around here is that when some folks hinder their children or grandchildren then see how they treat the child in someone else's household that it is not good.  With that being said around here words do hurt ether way ya look at it and that is why I asked Nancy Hammond to leave until she can be civil to the girl.  I could have been really nasty about it and wasen't at all around here.  Maybe it scares her that I am doing this without her and so is my Niece and I am teaching her more than Nancy could ever think about.  My Niece first thing was how do I work your washer around here.  So I shown her how and how much to put in for soap and the fabric softener also.  Also that is why I said it was a crash course in my house to start in on doing things and showing the girl in that there are other ways besides your grandmothers way of doing around the household while I am at it.  The really wierd part is is that if you do not do it Nancy's way of doing then you are totally wrong and apiece of crap as she says.  With Nancy not being over here at all now things have calmed down to the point of it is starting to feel normal once again here.  Then I have full ways of teaching in how I do things around the household and will say that in how I do things may not always be right and do they work for everyone maybe not.  My Niece has found out around here that the coupons work to the places advantage and if you can get it cheaper for an off brand product then the off brand wins for the can at this point in time.  When I went out to the dollar store the other day and picked up alot of things for under 20 dollars my Niece looked at me and asked does the one thing work? I said I don't know and that is why I picked it up for a dollar to try it out around here.  And yes it is the off brand and it never hurts to try something out.  She started laughing when I had 4 bags and lugged them into the can.  When she told me that some folks no not know how to shop at the dollar store I started laughing then she knew.  So now at this point the girl realizes that when I go cheaper around here it is for the best.  Pluss I got gause pads, tape, and a ton of other things for the place.  The girl looked at me and said you are cheaper than alot of people that I know at this point in time.  And my Niece got handed a brand new pair of sneekers also while she was out yesterday.  Well some of her friends know there is not much that I can do at the moment and we both appreciate in what they do.  So at this point I am trying to get well enough to go back to work so I can start pulling more money back and still keep the budget in tact while I am at it all here.  May as well work and start teaching some others in how I do it all around here.  Pluss I will still be here on the blog also so it will not be to bad just getting in the swing of things if and when I start working out of the household again.
