Looking around lastnight

Well I grabbed one of my cook books around here and to see what I could find for dinner ideas for the house here for tonight and I grabbed the wrong one.  It was and is one of Sandra Lees cook books and it stinks for Ideas totally.  If she was that broke as a kid growing up they would not have had Bisquick in the household at all.  So now that tells me that they were not that broke at all in my eyes.  So now at this point in time here I have watched Sandra Lees money saving meals and it does not impress me at all since I know that some folks have her beat to snot here along with myself on cooking on the cheap and a very tight budget for the household.  What Miss Sandra does not tell ya is to fling open the places where ya keep food at and the freezer(s) to see what you can make on very little also here in all the households.  At this point in time there will always be things in a household that are needed totally and I have my lists up around here just like everyone else does.  I will say that I have flour, potatoes, pasta, rice, butter, yeast, and baking powder along with eggs.  One of the nice things about cooking from scratch around a household here is that you can get something as cheap as ya want it and go from there.  Just like today here I will be making my own sauce for the ribs and will have enough to last for at least 2 more meals after that for the household.  There is just alot of things that some do not have a clue about at all in the real world and I do not expect them to after at least 10 years of being on T.V. at all.  So now at this time here at least I can say that some things will never change here and that is how it is out of people in todays world.
