Knowing why

Well once a year I stay out of Punxey PA totally for the week and today markes the end of that week there with all in what they do for a rodent.  Between all the luncheons and other things they do for the day it is not worth it at all to go down there.  Also they start the day at 3 am with hay rides and the kids in the school system get the day off totally.  And yes you read that right a day off from school totally.  Otherwise it does not change from day to day in the city at all and the movie was so right.  So now I was there for the week 5 years ago and was stuck here in NY State with the weather so I waited until the day after to go back down with the van.  It is also when I told the state trouper that I am going weather he liked it or not since there was a 10 car multiple accidents on the way back to Buffalo NY and it got bumped up to 14 cars and 2 more accidents while he was talking to me.  So after that I knew totally just to get out of town and go with it.  One of the good things about Punxey was that they have a crazy 8 sale at the one grocery store once a year also about 2 weeks after the rodent's day and after some have made fools of them selves also that morning.  That is about the only thing that changes in Punxatwney PA.  Without using a single coupon that day I had 33 dollars worth of a full cart of groceries and walked out with it.  So now at this point in time I am so happy to really be out of there totally except for the grocery bills that I have now here for the household.  Now I will see what happends for next month here and see if I can get down to Punxey for a grocery trip totally yet again and check in on some folks also while I am there.  Since I can take 200 dollars down with me and that is for the hotel, food, and gas to stay there and come back for the night and still have money left over also here and now to hand to my Husband when I get back.  Ok so alot of it is on the cheap down there totally and I do not mind that part of things at all.  So now here it is something to think about doing here and making it work here for the household once a month from now on also here.  All I can say is the budget streacher and a tank of gas for groceries and other things for the household.  So now at this point in time yes I will be going that much cheaper for the household and that is that here totally.  Some may not like in what I will do for the household here and that is ok by me at this point in time since they do not live here at all.  Some will never stay at my place also here and that is on them since I had alot that I could have taught them also 5 years ago here.
