Thinking I am nuts here

Well I am thinking that I am the one that is nuts around the household here.  I said this morning that I am working on the house and I think I bit off more than I could chew this time.  Oh well 2 loads of laundry and 2 boxes plus the doctors office and Kmart nah I haven't been busy at all today.  I will get to the bathroom here shortly weather I like it or not along with the dishes and more laundry.  Anyway I was looking on another blog and what the folks were answering on when and now on food stamps.  I am shocked and just plain out disgusted with some people.  I was on food stamps at one point or another and trying to make ends meet for the household either way I looked at it.  Back in 2001-2003 I needed a hand and asked for it.  I ended up with alot of burger, chicken and rice from the stores.  The food pantries gave me rice and the vegetarian beans alot of the times also.  While I was going to the food pantries for extra food to help out alot of people that were going had brand new cars, vans, and suv's at the time while I was stuck in a beat to snot Honda for a car.  All I could do was hold my tounge and go with ok I need the extra food and I hate begging for it around here.  It was last week or 2 weeks ago I was reading another blog I seen the words typed out form some that were on the system for the food stamps and I got mad more than mad really that they are eating shrimp and stake and here I am off the system and can not afford the good piece of beef to save myself except 3 times a year for the household.  One is my wedding date, and 2 Bdays for the place and I skip mine by having chicken or leftovers either way depending on what day my Bday falls on that year.  Now I have always shopped with coupons, discount stores, sale meats, and some times dumpsters to feed the household at all times.  I have known several folks that got wic and food stamps for their household and they were bringing in the wic checks and getting 500 dollars plus on food stamps with 3 children 9 months out of the year.  The food stamps would goo up to about 800 dollars with 5 children in the household.  And some folks wander why most of the United States went to Hell in a hand basket in the last few years.  Well gee get the lazy people off of welfare that have been on it for years and get them back to work and they have no choice in the matter.  As my Momma told me several times before the 5 year plan went into affect in the U.S. that welfare was hard work to keep on it.  Every 6 months you have to drag you toush into the office to re certify and it takes money to do that.  I have worked since I was 15 if not before and so has my Husband to see bumbs like his brother use and abuse the system totally.  And 2 of their children on disability social security in the household.  So now I am wandering what the government is totally up to with most people here in the 50 states.  I will say that my Best Friend her father died while we were in school years and years ago.  Yes then it is ok to get onto the system along with a hand up in the 50 states.  When you get people like my so called brother in law and his family that are going with "Oh I am and addict" type deal and oh poor pity me then there is a problem.  Most states are broker than snot becuase of people being on the system for years and when does it all stop.  Along with oh things are getting better and the resession has stopped for the moment when a ton of folks just lost their unenployment.  All I can say for some like NY State start looking around here and see the problems for what they are.  With the billions of dollars that NY State is into trouble for gee bring in your own T.P. and other things like I had to with a company for years.  Then also throw some of the welfare folks off that do not need welfare at all you might just save some money around the state.  Also what is a party without people bringing a side dish make it a pot luck dinner while you are at it.  It is not so hard to cut money around the state nor a household when ya work at it all.  Then threatin the children while you are at it and gain some controle back in the parents lives.  And stick to your guns for the children in the state that you are in.  Most of the workers will tell the parents that they are right by taking away some things and not leaving a bruse when they smack a child for good reasonings in the household.  Then you get folks like Nancy Hammond how starve the children in her household and the gift of gab never fails that she is a total liar on what she has done to the 4 grand kids pluss her own kids.  Some of us knew that the children were starving in her household and being beat and abused and the "Child Welfare" in the state of NY could care less on what she did.  That goes for the oldest son to the Youngest grand daughter in the houshold at the time and is still going on to this day since the one grand daughter is 15 almost 16 at this time.  When a child is over 250 lbs I see a problem here with the rest of the siblings were rails and malnurished on top of it.  And David and Nancy Hammond had the system to fall back on along with adoption income to boot for 2 out of the 4 children there is a problem.  She gave up on the older 2 and one turned out like her also.
