Waiting around

Well I am waiting around for my Husband to call me yet again to pick him up here.  Pluss I have to make dinner as of yet.  One of the nights that I want pizza around here.  I will be making homemade of course for the place.  It is better than ordering out for a pizza that I can make for a fraction of what someplace wants to charge around here.  This is what happends in a bedroom town prices go up in the summer and down somewhat in the winter times.  This is one of the reasons of why I just do not like to go out at all to eat and figure that cooking from home is alot cheaper than going out.  With alot of things that I have been doing around the place some folks would just cringe in what I am doing to cut back for the household.  All I can do is laugh around here in what others really do not know in what I am doing at all.  With that being said here I have gave acouple of people afew tips over the weeks here on how to save money in their household.  There are some things that I will not buy for the hosuehold at all.  Things like the swifter pads all togeather they are expencive and are a waste of money, another waste in my eyes are paper plates for the household.  I have also cut back on alot of the cleaners and other things around here.  I also get free samples for the household here.  I also got a call today asking if I wanted a free alarm system for the house.  I told the guy that called I am not intrested in it and he started pushing me to try to get it.  I plain out told him there are dogs in the neighborhood and I have a dog and 2 birds that would mess up someone without a problem and they better fear me more than the dog and the birds in my household.  Well I know what happends they put in the alarm system and I have to pay 50 dollars a month there after.  Sorry that is not going to happen at all around here at this point in time.  That is the cheap side of myself I know what I want and need and the alarm system is not on neither list at this point.  The needs always outweigh the wants and I will find a way to save up for the wants and I will not want the wants anymore by the time I save up for it.  As I told my Husband today als owhy and I do not need what he wanted to pick up at all for me.  It would be nice granted and I did not want what he wanted to get me for the house at all.  I look at things totally differant at this point in time and that is how it is.  Also an ex boyfriend asked in how I have made it thru the years and I told him what I have been doing.  To some folks I have went to the extream of cheapness and I know I have not totally got there as of yet niether.
